| Need to focus on the basics first and foremost to give ourselves a chance:
1 - Win the early possession game
2 - Not to concede penalties in stupid areas that would allow Saints to get in the front foot
3 - Slow the POTB down to allow defence to properly reset
4 - Forwards running in pairs
5 - More use of dummy/decoy runners rather than catch and pass from 9 to 7 to 6 (It doesn't work)

I'll bite.
Instead of adopting the teacher stance, why don't you just tell us why you don't think Borough should start. After all, it's pretty obvious that's who most people will suggest should start.
It's not like we've never been up against it Vs Saints and seen a young lad turn into top performance. Kev Brown and Robinson both spring to mind.
ATEOTD, isn't this what having a squad is for?

I would start Bourouh there and if not him then Hastings.

I wouldn't start Bourouh. As someone who has watched him coming through the academy he was a #9 who always looked more suited to coming on when the game opened up. i.e. the opposition forwards started to tire, and I think that's how he'll be used tonight.
Brad O'Neil on the other hand looks more of a starting #9 who can also play #13 but we don't know what's happened to him at the moment.

I know you’ve got some kind Adrian Lam love in on the go but come on Rogues. Do you even have to ask that question? We brought 2 hookers back from loan only to (rumoured) play a 13 there?

But is that not 'in an ideal world' type situation? We'd all prefer him to not be thrown in at the deep end, but that's what we are facing.
What will Shorrocks do, that he can't?

The only question is... is Bourouh a better hooker than Shorrocks? The answer is obviously yes because that's his natural position.
Wane would give him the chance and so would most coaches. E.g. starting McIlorum in the GF in 2010.

Wonder if IL looks at Lam's team selections and thinks "why are you doing this to us?"

Right call if he can't do 80mins, can't afford to waste a bench spot on a back trying to get match fit

| When O’Neill came on the other week (I think his last appearance) I remember thinking what a shocker he had for the short time he was on. Missed tackles and poor defensive reads from memory. I don’t think we’ve seen him since.

Totally agree
Plus it means Hastings goes back into the HB position he should always play
