| Think that's game over now. Pearce Paul with the break and offload to Gildart but dropped - Hall scores in the next set.

| Pearce Paul with a world class offload to start a break on the right side. Shifted to the left - Gildart scores. Smith misses the kick.

| This team is so capable of delivering on the pitch but my word we look clueless week in week out. Why are we waiting to get rid of Lam?
Throw injuries at me all you want but as I said before the team selected is well capable of beating HKR. This is a shambles. Get rid.

I don’t think it is capable. There should be enough from senior players to move away from whatever ‘plan’ the coaching staff have made up.

| More inclined to give KR credit for this one. Thought they played very well.
Can't fault Wigan's effort but the lack of pace in the spine will be a huge problem over the next few months.

The talent, even tonight, is there to win games. 3 weeks Lam had to get it right and he churned thus garbage out? You just know it’ll be “we trained well, I don’t know what went wrong” that he splutters out.
You’re right in that the senior players should have took a stranglehold and moved away from what ever Lam sent them out to do.
When is IL/KR gonna grow a set and sack this useless coach?

| One obvious (to me) thing to do is let the left footed Smith attempt conversions on the right and Hastings kick on the left hand side.
Wigan did this with Gill and Stephenson in the eighties. It actually worked. Neither were great kickers but the curve on the ball gave the success.

| What was it, about six or seven repeat sets on their line in the first half ?
Never looked like scoring, good job we scraped those seven wins early on, might be a while before we see another one.

| I didn't think we were awful like we were against Catalans. Defensively we had improved (although we couldn't get much worse) and at times the pack made good ground down the middle. It was absolutely criminal for us not to score when we had so much pressure and for me you've got to question the our halves and the idea to play Hastings at fullback.
In the first half Smith and Leuluai just weren't taking the ball to the line. They were content to shift the ball on early and as a result our lateral moves had little effect. Hastings is a half who loves to carry the ball and play direct but instead he was reduced to running sideways looking for space that hadn't been created. If Hastings had been in the halves I'm fairly confident we'd have been able to break Rovers down during our sustained spell of pressure.
I can cut Smith a bit of slack because he's still a young player but I think you've really got to question Leuluai's place in the team. Before tonight's game Smith had 1 try and 4 assists in 5 starts. Tommy had 0 tries and 0 assists in 4 starts. We don't get anything meaningful from Leuluai in attack and it's like playing a forward in the halves. We know he's a great defender but there's another aspect to his role and he's not doing it to anywhere near a good enough standard.

I think thats only because we didnt play Catalans, HKR arent a good team in reality and made it look easy with 12 men

| Actually can’t believe some of the comments on here.
Didn’t think we we’re that bad??
I rank it in one of worst performances I’ve seen in the last 10 years.
None existent Line speed. They were walking on us every set. Even after there second try (when you expect a response from us defensively) they waltz 60m with ease.
Clueless attack. Genuinely unsure what they are trying to achieve.
As usual no offloads or second phase until it was too late.
Wasn’t Hull KR missing there main man Abdul? And had a second rower and a young kid in the halves. Credit to them.
For me it was a very similar to the Catalan performance only we weren’t up against a red hot, more talented team.
What’s more concerning is this is our first choice pack (bar 10 minute Tony).
It’s been the same all season though, these last two games having been “out the blue”.
It’s not one of these, low energy performances against a lower table team either. We had all the motivation in the world after the embarrassment in France. And obviously back in front of the fans.
KPP two outstanding offloads were the only bright spot.
Dreadful. Need to put a statement out soon saying Lam won’t be retained as head coach.
Finished I stayed in and watched the 0-0.

Nailed it for me apart from the first line - we were awful.
What a boring game that was. You would’ve thought they wanted to entertain the fans on the return but nope. We looked like a bunch of players who had never met each other until kick off.
Our back rowers and props couldn’t impact at all, very lacklustre. Powell did almost nothing until 15 minutes left and then finally started scheming around the ruck - why did it take so long?
Changes have to be:
Bateman to the middle
KPP has to get another chance on the edge - couple of superb offloads and the only highlight of the game for me
Although next game I’m assuming we’ll be missing Hastings, Gildart(?) and Bateman so who knows what team we will put out.
