| Quote: The_Enforcer "What on Earth do people expect. You bring in London standard players to direct the team and you get London standard results. Yes im talking about Sammut. He should be nowhere near this team especially playing such a crucial position and he is not alone but just one example of the apparent mismanagement of the playing staff by those in charge. Either Tommy is up to the job or he isnt. If hes not, you retire him and bring in somebody who is. You dont keep a Tommy thats not up to the job and then add another player who isnt up to the job and end up with two that are not up to the job. Its madness.'"
Said this about Sammutt from the day we wasted the money in signing him. A poor, and proven to be poor, SL player.
TL needed to have been replaced at the end of last season. He simply isn’t good enough anymore in any capacity.

| Looking at the highlights, Lam had every right to be annoyed with Escare for that dropped ball because he tried a one arm catch. Two arms and he's in.

The only problem with this is that every single player made errors during the game. Before this one, Escare also knocked on when playing the ball and London scored from that error which was just as critical to the defeat.
Lam was right, Escare messed up but he needs to be a bit careful to single him out for criticism. I remember Shaun Wane singling out Charnley for public criticism and his confidence was rocked for months afterwards. Escare was probably guilty of trying too hard if anything and with Manfredi fit again and Burgess just a couple of weeks away, he’s really going to struggle to stay in the 17.

I understand - just making the point that it was a lazy/arrogant attempt to catch the ball. When you're going through a bad spell its the last thing you need. At least be disciplined and get the basics right.

| Yep. Back to basics is exactly what we need. Respect possession and play with discipline and we’ll be fine.
