Was my point walking away tonight. It’s typical RFL to put a marquee fixture on one of the couple of weekends following Easter.
Both should still have been better.

| Personally I thought Sam was the difference tonight, he barely put a foot wrong and was very lively in attack amongst a poor showing from our halves and backs.
Williams was appalling again, I seriously cannot fathom why he’s on marquee money. He’s been an awful return for that contract, and Powell should be playing at hooker in place of TL and alongside Ganson. No way he’s a SL #7, he’s ruining his good reputation at #7.

My point even at HT. 4th game in 14 days and it showed. Play that 2/3 weeks either side of Easter and I think you see more from both teams.

Agreed. A poor game really, but I think we deserved it, had the upper hand for most of the second half.

Probably but you were chasing the game so probably threw more into that 2nd half.
Don't think either takes anything from that performance wise. Sure opposition fans (especially Saints) will jump on us both looking "bang average" but I think both of us know that both teams have loads more to offer come crunch time.

Really? I thought he was as bad as the others until that last 10 mins. Dropped ball, poor passes, poor kicking and too many wrong options.

Don’t get me wrong, his performance wasn’t perfect by any stretch, in some of the ways you’ve mentioned but I thought he played a lot better than anyone else out there tonight. He put Williams and Powell to shame tonight.

| Yes Sam was as poor as the rest of the team (bar possibly Bateman and Isa who put in a real shift).

| I thought we looked more threatening overall and deserved the win. The conditions we’re not great for expansive rugby but not enough caution to the wind was thrown by either side.
Myler said post game that Leeds were patched up and knackered and it showed but a win is a win.
A lot of people looking at the negatives but we’ve had a strong start to the season results wise and where only narrowly defeated in our 2 loses.

Isa was very good, he made some cracking yards and took some good balls in.

Do you really think so? I thought he had a solid game and one of our stand-out players tonight.
In fact he’s having a great season, since Good Friday (where he was very good) he’s played out of his skin IMO.
Yes, he’s a squad player but a very good one at that!

| Another one coming good when his contracts up! Hopefully he’ll continue the form if he signs a new contract, unlike TT.
I’d let Tautai go tomorrow and develop Field, Romain and Hamlin.

I agree. I have been critical of him at times but he played very well recently. A few other players should take note. He's improving, others are going backwards.
As to the game, "defence wins matches" as John Monei used to say. Keeping Leeds to 8 points meant there was always a chance regardless of what went before which was however you look at it very poor. I bet if you were at the game the finish is what you remember not that. On TV with a commentary you are drawn into analysing the game and excitement is just not the same. Neutrals may have been bored. Leeds & Wigan fans at the match won't have been.

You simpley cheated all the second half to win a game you had no right to win, i honestly could not watch my team if they cheated like you lot, despicable diving players faking injuries to win penalties, your player brwaks a leeds players nose and does not even get a penalty because he just gets up and plays the ball. Your coach once again showing what a ape he us. Wouldn’t mind but you have talented players and can play a bit when you want but your coach prefers to just coach you to cheat.
