Jog on Muppet? Grow up lad.
To be honest your constant "Shaun" posts full of "emojis" are becoming a little bit tedious now, its not funny and its a little bit embarrassing.
And no, nobody round me was "unhappy" at beating our arch rivals 25-0 at all, in fact, we all had a great time.

| What happened with FPN when he was subbed off behind the posts at the Saints fans' end? He got a fair bit of stick and looked like he made a gesture back and the Saints fans started throwing things and the reserve ref went over to talk to the stewards?

Apparently something was thrown at him, I couldnt tell what gesture back from FPN was, but it seemed to upset them.

We had Feka for all those years and in a couple of them he was a real menace but it was always on really short stints. Tautai is managing to produce high impact over longer spells and he's very valuable for us at the moment.
I didn't think I'd be posting that this time last year!'"
It's incredible, isn't it? When he first arrived, and for quite a while afterwards, he just didn't look 'Wigan class'. Lately he looks a different player to that, and is turning in these big performances regularly. When he got the ball, it used to be "Jeez, I'll bet he drops it again", now it's "how many more metres is he going to drag defenders with him this time?"

| Quote: Orrell Lad "Good post, agree with all of that. It was the right performance for the right time and still enough encouragement that we can build from here - we hope. Farrell looked off the pace last week but he was on the money last night, we've missed his attacking threat. Same with Gells.
Johnh do these ups and downs in form have anything to do with the conditioning? Should we expect slumps at certain points in the season? Maybe that's why we're always poor around summer.'"
I don't think it is a conditioning issue. I think if it were we would show consistent performance throughout a 5-6 week spell I don't think we have done that, we have been up and mainly down all season.

Agree entirely. I was at Wakefield when it had just been announced that we were signing him. They beat us that day and he absolutely battered us. He's only now showing that sort of form and commitment and cutting out the errors. Long may it continue!

I don't see what the debate is, it's clearly due to the amount of injuries we've had. I know some of our fans are sick of hearing about it and trying to not use it as an excuse, others just don't want to give our coach a bit of credit for getting results with a battered team, but it's a fact, we've had a ridiculous amount of injuries this season that's hampered our ability to play "attractive" rugby.

Nicky do you not think that TT should be starting each game? Ideally we should be getting more minutes out of him.
He gives us go forward virtually every time he takes in the ball and could be a solution to our slow starts to games.
Vastly improved player and I can now understand why the Wakey fans we're singing his praises when we signed him

Both TT and FNP gave us a lot of go forward when they came on last night. I'd prefer starting with FPN and leave TT as the impact player off the bench, a role he is playing well this season.

I've thought so myself, but I think it's working well with Crosby/Mossop/Flower doing the graft early on then bringing on TT to do some damage. He seems to be a decent ball player though, ready made replacement for Lockers?

His sense of urgency and his ability to offload has been very impressive this season.
Not so sure if he could replace SOL however, having TT and SOL in the same team on a regular basis would be a big plus for us.

The debate is that we went stale mid way through last season, I posted after only a few games this season that nothing had changed, that was before any injuries. Teams had us figured out, we needed to change and hadn't at the start of the season and still haven't now. Come the big games, against Wire or Hull, if they are on form we need a huge improvement with the ball or we will lose. That is my concern, I knew we would get to the business end and be in contention, my worry has always been stepping it up and doing something extra special that wins games. Plus I want to be entertained for a majority of the 30 games, not hope we plod through and pray for one good game in the final.

If your dumb enough to take the 'Your Shaun Wane' jibes seriously that's up to you.
The determined support of Purple Head no matter what result or performance suggests it's either the man himself/family member..coaching staff..etc.
The boos and unrest were audible until George got under the sticks in the final stages and was just the fans showing discontent with the attacking attempts.
However 25-0 over Saints is superb result.
But we don't win big games, we used to win big games.
Why???
We are the best resourced club in the league.
Over to you...

We dont win big games? We have just made 3 concecutive Grand Finals! As far as im aware, that would mean winning 3 play off semi finals.....
There was no booing and unrest what so ever, why would there be? It had rained all day and both teams turned a lot of ball over, so what? Granted, our attack wasnt superb second half, but in the first I thought we looked dangerous and opened Saints up quite a few times.
Insulting your own teams coach by calling him "purple head" suggests you either have an agenda, or your a 12 year old.
Maybe, just maybe the "continued support" is because he is Wigans coach, and we are WIGAN SUPPORTERS. Mind blowing stuff eh?
