| What is the point of having decent wingers if they never ever get any decent ball where they have some space and/or time to work with? You might as well put a "middle" out there and be done with it and we will then have "tough" players all over the park.
Manfredi should be our go to player and I don't think he has had one decent pass all season. What a waste of talent.
Gildart has promise but still relatively unproven and hopefully he will develop into a good centre.
We are an awful bunch of players.
Where do I start with Sarginson and Tierney other than saying they aren't rugby players?
Gelling can't pass but that doesn't seem to matter anymore. Yea gods a centre who can't pass you couldn't make this up.
Crosby and Mossop should just be paid off or left to rot. Both are totally utterly useless and its an insult to use "prop" when stating their position. An odd game where Mossop makes some yards doesn't mean he has good form it means his shoite displays are marginally better than his usual yellow displays. If Crosby said he would go tomorrow to Aus I would honestly pay his one way fare and if he would take JT with him I'd chuck in a few beers for their journey. JT has done zero since his return and basically is robbing a living.
I'm amazed at how patient Wigan fans have been for the last 2 seasons when we have had zero entertainment and treated like an afterthought in fixture lists. A club that appears to be oblivious to the shambles that that surrounds every facet of the club.
I was a SW fan but his time has come and gone unless he has a Saul on the road to Dasmascus experience in the next few days which is as likely as any Wigan "middle" being capable of playing more than 15 minutes at a time at some in the near future.

I think you can add Gildart to the can't pass brigade.
Can't argue with anything else you've written unfortunately.

I nearly did mention that about Gildart but at this point I think and hope that he deserves a little more time before I put him the the can't pass category. My brother in law is in your camp with regards to Gildart.
I actually missed off Smith from the can't pass category but I think that's because subconsciously I have him in the he isn't a rugby player category or at least he isn't a halfback or whatever we call them these days.

| Smith is hopeless these days, and although they are no world-beaters, as we've seen in recent weeks, the likes of Gale and Sneyd are so much of an improvement on him it's ridiculous.
Once again I wonder, what is going through Sam Tomkins' mind at the moment?

| Anyone remember when we had a "bog standard" centre called Darell Goulding ? Reasonable defender, decent pace and considered it his No.1 task to put his winger into open space, oh to find someone who can do the basics like that again, a George Carmont would be even better.

He needs to concentrate getting fit and hopefully regaining something like his former top draw displays.
If he ever decided to move on and if he regains his fitness then Wire would sign him in a heartbeat.
He's probably wondering why on earth did I chose this place when he probably had several options open to him.
He'd better watch out though because he looked a bit chunky last night so might end up being a "middle" but at least he'd get plenty of rest at our place.

Or even Iain Thornley? He wasn't so terrible, was he?

Hull didn't take their chances or they would have been 30 points up by half time

| Not all of them, no, but in my recollection they came away with a try on both their first two visits to our 20.

How do you think Gale / Sneyd would do in our team? Would they improve it or would they end up being dragged down due to lack of options, runners and support whilst playing off a very average pack?
I said months ago that Tomkins is on a hiding to nothing, he is going to be heavily marked because nobody else in the team offers any spark, everyone will then say Tomkins is finished, past it, lost his pace etc..

Hull actually showed how to run these choreographed plays effectively, they often had runners that took defenders out and created gaps, it was good to watch. They opened us up repeatedly with ease and we didn't have a clue how we should defend against it.

Play 1 - short ball to prop
Play 2 - short ball to prop
Play 3 - Inside ball to a forward in the middle of the field
Play 4 - Same old move to the wing that stalls because the passing is poor/slow
Play 5 - Crap panic kick from Matty Smith
ALL GAME.
Time for change. I wouldn't like to see Wane sacked, just replaced when his contract is up.'"
Quote: cadoo "How long as he got left? Just so I can set my alarm clock.'"
We were absolutely taken to the cleaners big time by Hull FC last night in what was a top of the table clash at our home ground, and a place that they haven't done too well at over the years
I actually think that the scoreline flattered us tbh and that we should have been on the end of a right tonking
The longer this fool is head coach of our great club then the further we will fall IMO
I just hope that no SL coaches come on here and read Cadoo's breakdown of our set plays cos then we will be 'd as it is absolutely bang on
I would love Daryll Powell as head coach at our club, Only then we would see a marked improvement in game day tactics from the 5hite we see each week under Wane How refreshing would it be to see our players reverting to their natural skill sets rather than the current tough boy, bully boy approach each week?

| Phil Clarke wrote a great article last week about how SL players are having the creativity coached out of them. How some teams train to such set structures that players are literally just a cog in a machine doing a job. It rings so close to home. Our skill set is non existent. You can't even say that "all we must do in training is practice wrestling" because this season our ruck domination has been atrocious.
Next week I would call in Gregson to the SR immediately and get rid of Joel and Isa with the hope that Gelling back will move Bateman back to the pack. I'd also bring in Wells in place of Mossop without hesitation and Sarge should drop out (Tierney on the wing if Charnley is out). We don't need a big team to beat Leeds, we need players (especially senior ones) to realise that shiote performances will result in them getting dropped.

couple of seasons ago, a young wigan team turned up at the kc, minus big names, tomkins had left to play in the NRL, we sensed maybe a victory against wigan, instead we got a taught a masterclass of fast skillfull play, dummy runs and williams running the show and at the line, last night we turned the tables on yourselves and did what was done to us in that game
cant believe how one dimensional wigan have become, like many who tune in to watch the games on sky, if wigan are playing, it isnt long until the channel is changed, wane has turned your squad into a dull boring team only the odd flash of brilliance from bateman the shining light, (after his try last night he seemed to go out the game imo)
