| i think at other grounds when doing the deals, the groupon vouchers can be exchanged for a ticket for any part of the ground, obviously with wigan these vouchers were issued for reserved seats in a certain block in a certain stand rather than general admission?

Probably the reason but I don't think there was anything else they could do. Ultimately I'm guessing the idea is to get more Wiganers through the door so they can't put it in the "away" end and the south is unreserved but that is pretty much a guarantee to be full for a game like this so the only real option is the corner of the east to fill the stand up so it doesnt look empty on tv, or go in the west which is again reserved and with the prawn sandwich brigade.

| At the ticket office this morning and there was a bit of a palaver when a bloke tried to use the groupon offer. It appears that the groupon tickets had to be redeemed by the 7th, Wednesday, otherwise no tickets under any circumstances and no refund from Groupon either. He wasn't best pleased.
Should be interesting tonight around the ticket office.

Ouch.
But it is in the fine print.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't. Still though, it seems a tad unfair, especially as the event is still to take place.

| It does say pretty clearly on the vouchers to be fair that they have to be redeemed by the 7th.

Did you manage to stay till 70 minutes, or did you leave early like a lot of others?
Hope you stayed till 70 minutes, it was worth it because the field resembled a Mothercare store, with all the dummies and toys being ejected from a Cherry and White pram!!!
Big game for us to win tonight psychologically - probably doesn't mean as much to you guys, but if we had lost, we just know what all the "expert" pundits would be saying.
Just hope we can carry it on now and not do our usual - we know you would be better with ST and SOL, but I thought our forwards got on top and you looked a bit lightweight, particularly in the front row which probably won us the game.
Can't believe that your main try scoring threat (Charnley) barely touched the ball in the 2nd half!!!!
