Ah...but as the game kicks off at 0-0 you will have 'automatically' found your way back into the Top 8 due to superior points difference over Hull KR. The BBC demonstrate this perfectly with their 'As it stands' league tables for the football whilst the matches are in progress.

Therefore (whilst I'm being a little pedantic) a defeat tomorrow at the end of the match WILL see your team drop out of the play-off positions!

I expected Wigan to win by 30 points today, I really did. Our team is 30 points better than Wakefield. This is not my opinion, but fact.

Wakefield's average match score for the year [Going off the current points for and against] is a 5.6 point loss. Wigan's average match score for each game is a 26.8 point win. Wigan therefor, on a game by game basis are 30 points better than Wakefield.

Now based on this, and the fact we have come into the game on the back of some red hot form, Tomkins having scored 20+ tries in the last 11 games, why is it arrogant to expect a comfortable victory, and for Tomkins to get a bucket full of tries? Surely he was just going off the stats for the previous 17 games for the season.
