Coped under some pressure and that try was pure class.
He just lacked a little threat when roaming behind and joining the attacking line. Then again, we're used to Tomkins and the half back link between Finch and Lockers is a little slow.'"
Thats because the creatiove paly between finch and lockers was too slow and lacked the cohasion that tommy and finch bring

The creatiove paly and the cohasion are both clearly lacking.

Would also be good if people could mention some other youngster who we might see soon?'"
Jack's performance yesterday was exactly what you get from him in the U20s - solid and dependable with few errors. Jack will never set the game on fire given he does not possess lightening pace, although he did score a cracking try last night. For me, he was one of our better performers, although that didn't take much! I would have no hesitation in playing him again if Sam is not fit.
Regarding other players, who you may see coming through shortly, watch out for Williams, Hampshire, Burgess and Burke.

We need to get SOL back in the pack urgently.

| Did all that was asked of him, deserves another chance. After last night at least it gives us options of having a steady FB if Sam moves to 6 to give us the pace and creativity that is lacking with Lockers at SO.

| completely agree that in the short term I would consider moving Sam to 6. If Lima is out with a broken jaw or eye socket, whichever it is then we need Sean in the pack. It doesnt work with him at 6 and it is not a long term solution till tommy is fit ( if he does indeed play again for Wigan). Let this young lad keep his shirt and and get Sean doing what he does best, taking the ball in and caving players chests with his hits. We miss so much when hes not at 13 and moving Sam back is the only realistic option for me if we want to keep a dominant pack and that link in the backs.

| Thought he played well and took his try superbly well. He'll remember that for the rest of his life.

| Was impressed with the lad . would be happy to see him stay there while Wee Tam is out , move Sam into the halves and SOL back to loose forward . SOL is a world class loose forward but never in a million years a half back .
