| i would have thought any one with half a brain, would have worked out that I knew he didnt have a nephew old enough to drink in the sefton, and yes you can have one who is the same age as you specially if you are from Wigan. (your mums your Dad and all that). By the way the last bit was a joke  so dont take offence |

Games as big as Grand Finals define individuals and clubs. Remember, we only rent these journeys. In my time I had Pat Richard's shirt. Ellery Hanley had Sean O'Loughlin's jersey. Sam Tomkins is wearing Radders' number one jersey. Andy Coley is wearing Shaun Wayne's jersey. You have to make a mark in these shirts before you hand it down to someone else. Hand it back. So be aware for 80 minutes that you are not only playing, but you are also writing history and creating legacy. How many people actually write history - not many? A big stage demands big players…..INSPIRE YOUR TEAM MATES.

When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

cheers 100% someone with my sense of homour, its all tongue in cheek. bit of fun but we all pull together in the name of rugby league. I think Bradfords plight proved that, and all the micky taking a few years ago about going down when you were at the bottom, It would have been a disaster for super league, and especially us our greatest rivals not there to pull in our best crowds of the year. long may having a go at each other reign

In the local paper it has been reported that a Wigan fan was arrested after the incident in the Sephton. It says it was a small fight which the landlord tried to stop and he (the landlord) got an injury (cut above the eye) in the process.
