| How much talent has gone to waste here? What a class centre he was.

Unlucky not to win the Harry Sunderland Trophy less than 15 months ago.

| I'll echo what many others have said. I hope he gets the help and support he needs, and maybe come back to play the game again.
IMO we still miss him at Wigan.

| Losing him left a gap not easily filled, and he was in good form. Hope he can sort himself out.
Odd how Sean Longs name keeps cropping up in various reports. Would you want him around your club?

| What's the chances that Gleeson will sign for Salford in 2013?

| Quote: Gary High "Nothing to do with Cunningham - far from it.
.'"
It was the Cunningham affair that kicked off the RFL standing on drugs use.
Cunningham went through the courts and the ruling was that there were mitigating circumstances in the case . The problem was that the RFL did not disclose the players name, this was jumped on by the sports minister via the anti drugs agency. This lack of transparency by the RFL kicked off the Zero Tolerance of drugs in sport we have today.
If we apply the same ruling we have today to the Cunningham situation 8 years ago, then Cunningham would be banned, a RFL supplied conditioner would be banned and a RFL Executive would be banned.

If your conditioning coach comes to you and says take these then chances are you're gonna think theyre passed as legal arent you?! Remember that happening at Saints with Cunningham? Are you gonna say that was Cunningham's fault and he was allowed to play RL for years after unpunished or is it Saints fault for giving him something they shouldnt have given him?
Just think about it all for a second. Yeah maybe Gleeson took it realised he had done wrong and they were covering it up but at the end of the day youve got to accept that it could've been the other way round.

| I feel 4 the guy because if u read this article rlhttps://www.1-3-dimethylamylamine.com/methylhexaneaminerl, it states that this ingredient is found in a common Pre-workout drink called Jack3d, just like you would drink a Protein shake after workout... And as it states later that its only recently been banned, so maybe he didnt even know that it was a banned substance.... Or maybe im just being alittle niave.....

The whole web of lies that came out of the original story pointed to a wider issue at Hull as it was probable Long wasn't the only player Cooper had erroneously said it was ok to take. I suppose the delay given the lies helped any other player get it out of their system. Can you imagine the implications if nearly the whole team had tested positive?

Initially I was worried as I take Jack3d on a regular basis! I guess though that certain cough medicines are banned so it's not as bad as it looks............
I am torn really about MG. On one hand he should have checked everything himself, on the other it's hardly as if he has taken steroids............
One thing is for sure, we have missed him at centre. Carmont is a great creative centre, but since MG left, we have missed a "finisher" centre.

| The article implements long to be quite a ''figure'' in all this,as his dad appears to be the source of the pills.Just glad,we are rid of them all.Our new owner has flushed out all the garbage within our club, and has stated anyone failing a test will be out straight away, regardless of who they are.We have a fans forum on wednesday, with Pearson,Peter Gentle, and a couple of players which should be interesting!! The only other aspect in this,is the truth behind Gleeson's departure from Wigan?
