| Quote: Odemwingie "That was the first RL Challenge cup final back at Wembley. The amount of neutrals was a lot more than usual.
Spoons before the game was amazing, I saw every single shirt from all the teams in super league, pretty much all the teams in the championship and championship 1, along with various international shirts, shirts from different eras, NRL shirts, and tonnes of different club merchandise. It looked quality.
Imagine a pub with football shirts from all the different teams in the PL
it would be like the streets of London, Liverpool, Birmingham etc

Do you know how many we've sold / got left - are wigan likely to get another batch and are they going to have sold out by the time they reach general sale?

This thread shows why I wanted Wigan to go the final, best support in rugby league and by far the best team to watch!'"
Where do these figures originate from? The Warrington Guardian?
Excluding the Club Wembley seats, the only empty seats in the stadium last year were in the top tier of the Warrington end. The RFL even stated that Leeds would haue approaching 40k fans in the stadium. Don't forget we had 39k for the WCC game against Canterbury in 2005
.
I'd expect 25-30k this year, I'd imagine not so many are optimistic about the chances of bringing back the cup.

Biggest club in World RL Wire you know. I heard the RFL are trying to find a way of allowing them to play in the final for fear that us and Leeds won't sell out like the Wolfs would.
They're making their ground bigger too so the 3000 people that don't normally turn up (except when they play Wigan or St Helens) can turn into 5000.

What price ticket? Isn't Block 132 part of the Wigan allocation for season ticket holders? If so, how does that work?

Stop making things up, the game was a sell out apart from club wembley seats.

Perhaps a few hundred people couldn't find the stadium or decided they had better things to do?

Less than 100 £51 tickets left but still a lot of £21, £26 and £31 tickets so there will be plenty going on general sale.

Doesnt sound good to me, I refer you to my earlier post....
The club could end up with some serious egg on their faces here.
All the fans I know including mostly ST holders have bought their tickets through the RFL. The club have needlessly made it hard to buy the final tickets. To a certain degree I can understand the decision on 1 ticket per ST as we have over 10K ST holders, although in hindsight we could have made it 2 due to amount of fans buying through the RFL. What I don't understand is not being able to purchase them through the e-ticketing system as we have done all season.
This has detered fans from going out of the way on a working day, in crap weather, why should they when they can just log on to the RFL website and book them in the comfort of their own homes.
Im still confident that we'll have 30K Wiganers down there, but Im beginning to question wether they'll have bought them through the club.

| apologies for my naivity (typo?!) here but what is the difference between buying from the club direct or via other means... does the club benefit somehow from supporters buying through them?

We have 10,000 season ticket holders. They have been the only ones able to buy tickets so far.
I doubt the other 20,000 have bought tickets from the RFL. Once they go on general sale our allocation will sell-out.
I still think we should of had 2 per ticket though and sell-out as quick as possible.
