I started work in 1955 in a steel fab shop and when people asked me what I liked all I could say was Wigan and Billy Boston.
I was so like a broken record I was soon called Billy (and answered to it) even though this wasnt my name,this must have gone on for at least twenty years.
Even after some of my old workmates had retired when I met them round town they still called me Billy.
The best ever,believe me. |

Sorry but McAvoy did his job he was signed for and did it very well IMO..That left side defence was killing wigan in 06 and McAvoy came in and plugged the gap...Call him all you want but he did what was asked of him.
