The fact remains Coley has been banned for throwing one punch, whereas Emmitt and Cooper despite being found guilty of fighting ( and fined £500) and thus by definition throwing several punches have escaped a ban. Emmitt is now free to play tonight against Wigan and Cooper will be able to play in Warrington's tough game against Huddersfield.

Where's the consistency in that? Consistent in that Wigan have been hammered by the RFL this year ( Lima X2, Sam, Tuson, Joel, Coley) and Warrington have escaped very lightly despite Morley's high tackles in several games, particularly against Saints and Carvell's late challenge on Dureau.

Aren't "running in and punching" and "fighting" two different charges, meaning that Coley's incident isn't really comparable to Emmitt and Cooper? Not that I've seen the fight, but I would probably agree that running in a throwing a punch is more dangerous/daft as it could cause more damage to an unprepared opponent, than two guys facing each other throwing slaps.
