We miss his size in defence. Farrell and Tuson are small for second rowers and that tells when they're both on the field for extended periods.

You are right to a degree. The amount of cr@p people get in here at times is shocking, even when they have a valid point or whether it's just an opinion. So forgive me for sticking one back.
I never even mentioned the cr@p I got a few years back for suggesting Sam would be a good FB.

| Because we haven't lost when Hansen didn't play doesn't mean he wasn't missed. Can you be sure the team wouldn't have played better if HH had been playing? You can win a game by 2 points, or you can blow a team away by 40 points, both would be wins but the performance completely different. Surely the only way you could prove he hadn't been missed would be to prove that if he played, the performance from the team would have been equal or worse, you can't prove that, so I don't see how you can claim you are correct and everyone else is wrong? It has been suggested (and I agree) that had HH played against Crusaders we may have conceded less points due to mistakes by (I think) Tuson, so that would suggest that he was missed in that game at least?

? Because I commented on several players not being good enough it's now upto me to recruit and replace? No.
If I thought you were honestly looking for a general chat on who I rate in RL I would have discussesd. However, considering the nature attitudes in here it was probably a prompt to get me to name players to then have a go at my picks.

I don't think I've read a thread where so many people have disagreed with the op. Not one has agreed with you yet. If we were to lose to Hull KR or Catalans next week does that mean, in your eyes, that we have missed him because its all down to one player and not the team or the squad depth.

That wasn't how it was intended, of course it's not up to you to recruit and replace, I would be interested to see which players you would rate as equivalent or better than those you named, sometimes as a fan of a team you have an exaggerated view of it's players. |

I would imagine the majority of posters on here are from marsh green or some other classy upbringing, probably the same mindless idiots who shout the most retarded comments down at the DW.
I find it laughable that I think there is only one other poster who actually understood my point.
Was he missed? No. How can back up such comments? Because his absence didn't effect the results. We've won all the fixtures since his injury.
Hansen has many qualities as a player, but did his absence effect the outcome of the fixtures he missed? No.
People mentioned well did we miss Pat? Yes. Pat not being there to convert cos us points. Him not being there in the WCC was v costly.
One idiot tried to compare it to the one game we won without Sam and Joel (Huddersfield) just demonstrates the lack of smarts in this forum to make such a comparison.

ha i know i was just joking really. out of them players name i would say goulding is the most average player. I like micky mac and coley and hansen is a work horse but i do think alot of wigan fans overate hansen. To say he is our best 2nd rower after hoffman is laughable imo! he reminds me of jamie jones buchanan for leeds. Gets through alot of work for the team but doesnt do anything spectacular!
