Hard to say without him being given a run of games at 9, he's certainly got experience there! Although I do think Riddell was a huge loss and Tommy would have to play very well to replace him.

Leuluai is very, very good at hooker. Spell him with McIlorum to keep him fresh and we're laughing. Of course this would require Maguire to move Tomkins back to 6, which I'm not sure he's willing to do.

I agree, i'd love to see Tomkins at 6 with Tommy and McIllorum at 9, throw in Finch/Deacs at 7 and that is one heck of an attack!

personally i think the club have taken so long to make a statement that its been put together by a legal team so as not to leave any loopholes and coply with the law, as wel as appeasing "outside agencies"

thay have said as much as they can under the circumstances IMO

I am glad that the club have finally made an announcement but I am disappointed that Matin Gleeson has departed the club. I did hope that it was a temporary suspension and that he may sometime soon come back into the team.

We all make mistakes. I'd like to wish Martin good luck for the future, I hope he manages to sort himself out and get the help that he needs and that he gets back on the rugby pitch where he belongs.

The 2 tries he scored in the grand final were awesome and there is no doubt in my mind that without him setting the platform that night, Wigan would not be the champions !!!
