| I'm pretty sure I read that Coley was set on retiring last year and had to be talked into playing in 2011 so if that's true he's unlikely to be here next year. I suppose we'll have to see what kind of form Hock show's once he's available again. By all accounts he's put on some serious bulk so it's not too difficult to see him moving up to the front row, much like Morley and Peacock have done before him. If it pans out that way then a first choice four of Fielden, Lima, Mossop and Hock looks pretty good moving forward. According to Bilko's stats Lima and Mossop have been our two best forwards when it comes to metres gained per carry in case anyone didn't know

| We don't need another prop. Fielden, Lima, Prescott, Mossop, Hock, Crosby, Davies is fine. And possibly O'Carroll if this operation works out.

According to today's Observer, O'Carroll has had a "successful" operation and Madge believes he will play this season.

I think a few people are quite out of touch with the nrl cap and sl and what power sl clubs have to bring top nrl players over here. Bar players looking to hide from the next big scandal I think we are gonna see less and less names coming over. the top players that have been me mentioned on here like Blair, hodges, Jennings are getting contracts which a publicised over here are around 1.4 to 1.7 million over 3 years plus other perks like adverts , pundritry which have an allowance outside the cap. That's above 300k in uk pounds a season. With tougher English tax laws and the strong Aussie dollar unless Blair and others are on the run It's not gonna happen. Maybe widdop, maybe Manu but they are young and smashing it big over here. I think all clubs will have to rethink big name imports unless they are gonna dish out a big proportion of the cap on one talent.

| An NRL centre and possibly a young halfback would be my picks for signings alongside keeping on guys like Richards and Coley. I'd let Deacon move into fulltime coaching and Carmont is retiring according to Ian Lenagan.
Jamie Lyon and Steffan Ratchford would be 2 guys i'd target.

Not sure I'd want Lyon in case he wasn't as good as he was at Widnes B.

| He's a man who can chose where he goes.
If Maguire has already let it be known he's going end of this year then an invitation to Wayne Bennett would be a good idea.
I'd prefer Maguire to stay, if he isn't then there won't be any better available for 2012.

| No chance of Bennett coming to UK - personal reasons would prevent him from doing so IIRC.
