| Awesome effort from Josh Charnley. THAT TRY from Lockers' kick and the finish was world class. Many people bag Phil Clarke, but he was spot on there. The pass for Ryan Hoffman was awesome too. Fantastic player.
I see him as a centre in the future, but for now I wouldn't change a winning formula & would give him a few more games on the wing.

Charnley's try reminded me of how Edwards used to kick for Robinson.

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

Agreed, until Pat is back, then move him to right centre ahead of Marsh.

27588.gif "Games as big as a grand finals define individuals and clubs. Remember we are only renting these shirts, I had my time in Pat Richards shirt. Ellery and Faz had there time in Sean's, Hampo and Radders in Sam's. You have to make a mark in these shirts that's still there the day you hand it over to someone else. So be aware for 80 minutes you are not only playing but also writing history and creating a legacy. How many people get to actually write history, not many. A big stage demands big players, be inspired. You play for Wigan, now go do it. Good luck." - Martin Offiah, 2010.:27588.gif |

| Played a bit at St Pats with him and he was a centre for 2 seasons and was so effective there, scored and set up bucketloads of tries. Obviously, that was a couple of years ago and Madge has probably seen his full potential and knows where he is more dangerous. The one thing I think could give him a good chance at centre is his strength, hes a big lad for a winger and you could see from his scoots and kick returns yesterday that he made good metres driving and often took a few players to stop him. That strength might not be utilised on the wing. Equally though, hes extremely quick and can exploit a game on the wing easily like he showed for Hoffman's try. Overall, hes a great prospect and worthy of a starting place IMO already. Good news hes on my fantasy team at the moment haha

| If anything i was even more impressed with his defensive positioning and tackling.
He was everywhere last night and some of the things him and the Hoff were doing were outstanding. The relationship between a winger and his 2nd row can be overlooked sometimes, but these two look like they have been playing together for years.
Obviously he aint to shabby going forward either

He's always been a good defender, like virtually all of Waney's products.

Completely agree, just look at how the Hoff went straight to congratulate Charnley before Lockers even put the ball down for his try! As a side note, very impressed with how vocal Hoff seems to be, got be good for the younger players (even though Hoff isn't that much older).
