Poor error by Roby though to give away field position so cheaply.
They just do the little things so right and we simply do not at crucial times and that is the difference.'"
I notice how you didnt comment on the absolutely embarassing defensive position of O Loughlin for the aussies first try. Ive seen 3 year olds with better defensive positioning. He was just stood there daydreaming, 3 meters out of line.

| The decisions have actually left a very sour taste with me. Australia were there for the taking and the VR let them off the hook. Yes we made far to many unforced errors but when the dynamics of the game are changed so dramatically ( the VR decision) then performances can be affected. If we had kept Oz on the ropes and pinched another converted try to make it 6 - 14, chests get puffed out, confidence rises, the ball begins to stick and its game on. As it was the VR cheated and made a cop out decision which instantly deflated a ver inexperienced young side. I for one are quite proud of there efforts if im honest.

| have to disagree Phil Clarke who says the players need to spend more time with the England coaches in order to develop. Sorry clarkey but I'd rather have the Wigan youngsters kept away from McNamarra and spending more time with MM.
I don't think I'll be getting up at 4.30am next week.

I think he is kind of refering to the way England RU do things. Wont happen though. I think that we could incorporate the help of some of SL's best coaches in the 'camps'.
The problem is imports or should I say poor imports taking key positions in Club sides. Look at the Aussies ... They have the attitude of "You play in the NRL or you kiss your international career goodbye" Removing promotion & relegation has cured sod all ! Teams are still going into administration and lets face it not many players from Championship clubs are moving through and being signed by SL clubs - When they do they are loaned back to there Championship club anyway Where's the sense in that ?

I don't get why we need to have a fulltime coach at all especially if the only one willing to do it is second rate(at best).
I'd be much happier if we had a part time coach that was top class rather then a fulltime one that is pathetic. I'd give the job on a part time basis to a coach like Nathan Brown or Maguire if they were willing to take it. They're forward thinking coaches that get the best from their players and aren't afraid to rattle a few cages.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| They were given 3 tries which should have been chalked off without any question.
The ref constantly gave all the 50/50 calls their way, some in crutial positions e.g. Goulding ball steel.
We made a break with a short pass to Cudjoe given as forward and yet when they do it every set its not given.
We were disallowed a try which should have been given 'benefit of doubt' (it would have been given for them).
DISGRACE.

| In the last 5 minutes we knew the game was lost and we were out of the Four Nations so why didnt we go about and knock a few heads off? Ref was rubbish but we were never going to win.

How was O'Loughlin extremely crap? He was a damn site better than Fielden or Sam Tomkins who you say were average.
For me one of the biggest disappointments was Sam who I thought was very poor today and showed that he still has a long way to go.

| Yet again it was our ball control that let us down, why everyone was praying for rain was beyond me, we couldn't hold on to it playing in the middle of the Sahara so we didn't have much chance in a drenched Melbourne. We throw a pass when it isn't on, everything we do is "off the cuff" . The first 15mins when we stuck to a game plan was superb we were making easy yards with quick play the balls and hard drives and then for whatever reason we start to go back to the same old story of trying to score on every play, its so bloody annoying but moreso......so predictable

Bring back the biff!
I cant stand blatent cheating tbh. The Aussies will be put back in there place though over the next 2 weeks by NZ. Nothing I seen today suggests they can beat NZ at all.
