Exactly, you beat us in the CC this year and we ''keep blowing big games''.
Therefore the pressure is on you to carry on that trend. PLUS you have home advantage and the week off.
We've had to fight our way to get into our current position.
By the way, I can't be bothered repeating myself.

| One thing that's been annoying me in the last couple of games which we need to sort out on Saturday - if you're going to kick high to Pat Richards, make sure you get the ball in amongst the ingoal area. Paddy could just flop down then and score - too often he's catching the ball with ease but the chance is gone as he's simply tackled infield

I noticed that.
A couple of times, Fox didn't even bother jumping and just stood his ground, waiting for Pat to catch the ball and wrap him up.

Another reason we should all be saying our daily prayers for Paul Deacon to be fit.

I never thought I'd see that posted on RL fans, well not before 2 weeks ago.

ATEOTD this is a elimination semi final the pressure is the same for both sides. Lose and the seasons done.
I make Wigan favourites to win this game fairly easily by at least 3 scores. Although I said that last time out.

Yes but Lee, don't think Wigan are going to keep on blowing big games forever, as if it's some kind of scientific rule. Patterns change, especially as teams gather more and more experience.
I'm not saying, by the way, that Wigan will definitely win this match. We know you are a good team. But if I were you, I wouldn't bank on Wigan being more affected by the pressure than Leeds.
Leeds were clearly very affected by the pressure at Wembley - they blew that one far more spectacularly than Wigan have blown any of their last 5 semi-finals, and from the public outbursts we've seen this week, Leeds look to be feeling the pressure of this game as well.

| anyone know why Wigan players have been banned from talking to the press? It seems an odd thing to do for a group of players who havent been affected by the pressure

Have they been banned? Genuine question, it's just that I've seen nothing to suggest they have. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

According to some Daily Wail freelance hack the players weren't at the press conference today, whereas the Leeds ones were on Monday - which of course means they've been banned. Obviously disappointed he couldn't stir at this morning's press conference as Madge wouldn't lower himself to that level.
Of course that also means the pressure is getting to Wigan as they're ignoring the Whinos whine like little girls.

Maybe he thinks the match on Saturday is the best way to do it, rather than reply to childish name calling.

Defend himself against what?
It's really got to you, hasn't it, this unwillingness of Wigan to get involved in tit-for-tat arguments?
One of your lot made some comment on the other message board that Wigan aren't used to this big game pressure. All I can say is that it's currently Leeds who are behaving as if they're new to all this.

there is a big gap to disagreeing or defending himself and his team against the accusations and childish name calling.
