As i was sat in the south stand it was a disgrace what happend after the final hooter. coins,pint pots and bottles being thrown by morans in the crowd, seemes to come from the middle to the right of the stand shouldnt be hard to find out with the cctv.

however i think every one is missing the point here, the throwing of things onto the pitch, punching of away fans, fighting, bullying or menacing at a rugby league match is stupid and dangerous, more importantly it, when shown on TV, will paint our sport in a bad light, making more idiots turn up thinking it's a good place for a rumble!

is that what you want? i don't, i take my 9 year old to the match to encourage him to understand the aggro should take place on the pitch in a controlled and sports like manner, rather than on the terraces/stands.
now you have to face facts it is occuring more and more at wigan, is there a reason? are people being identified and banned as people on this forum demmand or is it being swept under the carpet? i don't know, anyone know of any one getting banned from a ground recently?

Anyway, i digress. The beer throwing was silly, but i can see why they did it. When Calderwood threw the ball into the south stand all those years back i would have thrown an axe if i had one, let alone a pint Its all in the heat of the moment. I'm not condoning it, but i sympathise. Its not a "Wigan" thing, like fighting isnt a "Hull" thing, its just one of those things that transcends the badge on your chest that attracts the odd thug.

I just want to know what the lad in the green t-shirt sat at the top of the South Stand was? And whether he thought he was 'cool' or 'hard' or 'popular' for holding onto the loyal 18 flag for so long today. I want to know what he got out of that. He was probably one of Ginger Wiganer's mob.

I was sat in the West today and saw the flag come down. About 10 rows from from the front, 2 blokes, in their 50's grabbed hold of it and were clinging on to it for dear life trying to stop it being pulled down.

That is so unfair, to be calling the lad (ginger)yet again. He has done nothing, he is not any ring leader, all he did was suggest that he was moving seats.
The beer throwing came from the bottom of the south stand. We sat at the back today, and the behaviour of the young uns' was immpecable. I fear it is in fact you who needs to Grow up!
