| If we can get Lima or Manu in for Feka, and LMS in for Prescott I'd love to see next year.
Coley, Piggy, Lima/Manu
Joel, Hansen
O'Loughlin
With a bench to be made out of:
Fielden
O'Carrol
LMS
Hock
Mossop
Farrel
It may not quite be the strongest frontrow in SL but it's not far off. As for the backrow there's not another side in SL that could touch it. If we could assemble the above pack of forwards I feel we'd have one the best in SL in terms of quality, and the best in terms of depth. All sides suffer injury's and having the right back up players is key to maintaining a winning team.

Well done Saints. Just the type of signing we need.

Good signing for Saints, I don't really think we need more than 1 prop though - a tough hard working experienced one, replacing Feka.

Agreed. That signing plus the return of Gareth Hock should be more than enough. Andy Coley and Stuart Fielden are doing an excellent job. Stuart Fielden inparticular has really hit some form these last few weeks.
I would like to see our pack lineup something like this next season:
Fielden, Riddell, Coley
Hock, Tomkins
Lockers
--------------
NEW prop
Lee Mossop
Harrison Hansen
Mike McIlorum

| Heard a rumour from a good source that Wigan are looking at signing Jamie Peacock for next season. If its true I'd be chuffed with a Fielden and Peacock starting prop combo.
Certainly would spice up Wigan/Saint's derbies with them signing Josh Perry!

20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

| Wouldn't mind Ben Cross, I like him but watching him this season he does look a bit slow, still think he would make a good signing and would look forward to watching him play if we did.

I'm still thinking of Hock at prop, rather than 2nd row.

Depends what sort of condition he comes back in really, although rumours persist that he's been hammering the gym and has put on a lot of size. No doubt he's got the aggressive nature to play front row, as well as his offloading ability

Saw him the other day he looked as big as, if not bigger, than Morley, arms were like carpet rolls

So far I'm hearing a lot of things about Gareth Hock regarding how much he has put on in weight and what position he will come back playing in. The fact is no-one probably can really be conclusive on this matter and therefore can't make such a definitive comment until we've seen him back in action.
I've named him in the second row because that is where he played before he left and was the position we saw Gareth Hock in his most devastating form.

I fully expect Hock to return in his familiar position then drift between the Prop and secondrow then become a specialist Prop for the 2012 season.
1 thing is for certain though whatever position he returns in, he is going to have to play very well to get a place in the team under the current management.

| Hock's style of play was for the most part based on strength and a killer offload (when it came off) so I think he'll easily slip back into playing well as his strength won't have left him.
Although it may take him a while 2 get his clever footwork back you'd think at still only 27 he won't have lost it forever.
Can't wait 2 see him back
