Our Reserves side v Leigh will be far more value for £14 than our first team v Leigh. It is a bit much though isn't it.

Are people really that surprised we are sending a team like this to Leigh given the upcoming game against Wire?

I'm looking forward to it, will be great to see some of the young players take on Leigh. It will be a much better game than last year.

This is ridiculous. I'm phoning for a refund. This is not worth 30 quid. I enjoy watching the reserves and academy, but If I had to pay £15 a week on top of what I paid for my season ticket I don't think i'd bother. Can't see there being more than 2000 on with this match now.

Why is it ridiculous, given the fact that Maguire had already told the fans in his interview that he was fielding a young side, and we have another game on Wednesday v Leigh.

This was the team I predicted on the Leigh site on Wednesday, and I was wrong on one player. Surely you saw it coming.

Well I + 3 did pay in advance and am thoroughly disgusted. This is a reserve fixture and should be priced as such! I would still have gone had it been announced as such...but not at £14 per ticket!! I have to say this has annoyed me more than anything the club has done recently as I think it is nothing short of a con. If it had any morals the club would offer a refund for anyone who doesn't want to pay £14 for a reserve match....let alone a pre-season friendly reserve match! Disgraceful!!

I've never understood why people bother getting tickets for a friendly, that a) isn't going to sell out, b) doesn't have any "early bird" offers and c) you don't have a scooby what the team is going to be.

It must be a Wigan thing - we just like getting in a queue.

As a Leigh fan has stated on their board out of these lads we will be watching, some are future internationals, future super league stars or at the least future CH1 players to the higher teams and clubs like Leigh and Widnes would kill to be able to put out a team like that. I cant wait for this match, it will be more evenly matched than if we put out a first team and battered them. You've got your ticket, the moneys gone, just go and enjoy the match!
