| Quote: jjb10 "Surely Wigan, is the biggest challenge in world rugby, trying to turn us back into the force that we where? Hasler would have played under, Graeme Lowe at Manly, he might of been sold on the idea of him. Who knows.
I'm afraid I'll wait till I see it in black and white.'"
Didn't Hasler train under Graham Lowe as assistant coach - or is my memory playing tricks?
With credentials like those what more could you want?
We can always dream, I suppose ...

| I would rather have Mcguire than Hasler to be honest! Hasler would be coming with a first class record but I think Mcguire would still have a lot to prove!

That doesnt make sense, you would rather have a inexperienced first team coach, than a world class coach, who would have a lot to prove by making it on the other side of the world, with the biggest club in the world.

I just can't imagine anyone who works in Manley and probably lives by the northern beaches of Sydney wanting to move to England.
Wigan is very obviously is still the greatest name in Rugby League!'"

Mcguire does not really have a huge reputation yet as a top wordl class coach, I would much rather see a coach make himself at Wigan than get someone who is supposed to be world class only for them to fail.

duh. You just said you'd rather a coach succeed then fail at wigan. Surely that's obvious regardless of what experience they have?
Rather have a proven world class coach than someone who could be a world class coach. If both were to prove succesful then the unknown guy would probably be better, but i'd say theres a much bigger chance of him being a flop as well.

| Dezzy Hasler to Wigan?
Crikey, I doubt that's ever going to happen.
Edit: Infact, sod it, get him over here and tell him to bring Watmough and big Georgie Rose.
