Heard a great story about Holdsworth - during a Wigan/Saints derby in the eighties, Phil Clarke put a head high shot on mulleted Saints captain Shane Cooper, almost knocking him out. Holdsworth pulls Clarke over.

i think ball stealing is getting out of hand and you cant blame the ref for that(fielden incident on fri)
if the ref doesnt see it ripped out then he gives a knock on and thats fine but if a player gets penalised for ripping the ball out it should be an automatic 10 minute sin bin.
leeds and warrington have a coommon factor in tony smith,great coach,but he realises its a 50/50 call and its worth the risk
leeds are the worst offenders and always try stealing on the 1st or 2nd tackle never on the fifth(watch next time they are on sky)
