Nobody is debating the state of the Club, Noble, IL and Hogan have worked wonders the club is 100x better off for the work that the three of them and done and Noble can take all the credit he deserves for that.
However, the consistancy on the field has always been an issue and it is dissapointing that 3 years down the line we have the same problem, the competition may not be won in march, but had we won those first few games we would be a damn sight better off than we are now.

| If Noble does the double I would still want a new coach. I have had enough of boring rugby and players de-motivated by a coach who they cannot understand or do not want to follow.
Last night was great but good performances every Preston guild doesnt pursuade me at all.

| Quote: ShortArse "the problem is ted, that we have 5 forwards missing (lockers, bailey, mcilorum, hock. ocarrol)
in the past, the nominally better players would automatically be brought back in the team regardless of their form or the form of their replacements (eg the way in which sam was dropped for smith, and only major injuries and appalling form allowed him back in)
if nobby is still here next year, i am not confident that all the same old names will be back in the frame, and the youngsters will be told to wait their turn again. or that he will bring in new favourites who will be treated in the same way (ie favoured) eg if we have a full set of props, will he drop the 5th best ie fielden ?
nobby has proved good at managing the players when the best 17 are picked, unfortunately he doesnt appear to be as good at picking the best 17 himself'"
If they were all fit next week, i'd have Lockers McIllorum and O'carrol in back in team. [amd Hock but theres no point in talking about him being out anymore]
Lockers has to come back in for me, our best player, straight swap for flanaghan.
McIllorum would unfortunately come in for Goulding, just to avoid all the unnecessery positional switches. Goulding is unlucky with the fact that we just have 2 of the best centres in the league in Gleeson and Carmont.
O'carroll jsut to get fielden out of the team.

| Got to credit him last night top notch performance, it is so frustrating to see the team play so well in flashes then dive to the depths we have seen at points this year.
I do not want him at the club next year, but it has to be said he is giving his all to go out on a high and credit to him.
I think he is missing something from his coaching that can give us that consistent level of performance, i do not know what it is but he just seems to be lacking that something that could make him a top Wigan coach.
Big round of applause from me to him for last night though, he got it bang on the money, with tactics and getting the players up for the occasion, hope we can carry it though to next week and hopefully the semi.

I think the team would be better balanced if you swaped O' Carroll for Feka.

| Coley and Phelps improved, Coley has taken a good while to find some form and they both got new contracts.
IL stated results will determine Nobles future, if he carries on getting the team up and winning, he will get a new 1 year deal minimum.

| Hark back to 1985 when we sacked off Colin Clarke / Alan McInness despite a magnificent win at Wembley.
The sacking (although unpopular at the time) brought Wigan up to the next level which saw us achieve unprecedented success for the next decade.
We need someone to come in with fresh ideas to take us to that next level, whether we win achieve Wembley / SL Grand Final success or not!

| If we win anything, give Nobby another year.
But I am not going to buy a season ticket. I will just pay at the gate late on in the season.

| Noble is definately the luckiest coach in rugby league.
If pathetic Smith had not got crocked he would still be in the team, noble would have left SAM in the reserves and we would have probabley lost the last five games.
