| Watching Ainscough again today in the reserves, he is a long way short of being a first team player.

| I'm not too confident for our chances in the Semi Final as it is but without McIlorum and especially Lockers I really am worried

| Gee, Farrell and Flanagan went well in the reserves today - options for 9, 6 and 13 with those three.

Confidence destroyed by the public outburst from his coach about faults in his game after he had scored four tries.
Brian Noble is a pillock.

Absolute rubbish.
Ainscough is a very good prospect but he is nowhere near first team quality YET.
The number of tackles he missed today was frightening, his passing was poor, but he did take a couple of high balls and he was jumping for the ball in the pre-game warm up.
Let's just give him time and space.

Lets get it right here!
Noble Never gave a "Public Outburst!"
He said his time will come and he has a few areas of his game to Work on!
It was the Public outcry on here that turned into something bigger than it ever was!!!!!!!!!!
AND PS
In My Opinion and that of LOTS of fans I talk to it was the RIGHT decision by Noble!
I'd suggest BN is far from a Pillock based on that decision.

I can understand a loss in form in the first team but I don't see why his sudden loss of form has filtered through into his reserve performances. He was blitzing the reserves last year and made a good name for himself in Australia and now suddenly that Sean Ainscough has disappeared. What do you put it down to?
Well I noticed he lost his form quite considerably after the comments from Noble. Coincidence?
I agree that a spell out of the first team is correct but I don't think the comments from Brian Noble after the Wakefield game were appropriate.

Well he looked every inch a first team player when he played in the first team.
So why has he gone backwards?

See my reply to Rogues.
It was public criticism of one of a young 19 year old winger. He harps on about duty of care but yet I don't see how highlighting his weaknesses publilcally are providing a duty of care.
I agree that a spell out of the first team was the correct decision but the comments from Brian Noble after he had scored four tries against Wakefield weren't. I couldn't imagine any other coach doing that in super league.
A young players confidence is fragile and Ainscough has lost his evidently to the point where he is now putting in sub par performances in the reserves.
What do you put this down to? As DaveO said he looked every bit a first team player prior and during that Wakefield game.

If you restrict asking the question to the Brian Noble fan club I am sure you will get the answer you want. It'd wager if you ask a cross section of fans you and your mates are in a small minority.
He was going fine. There was no reason at all to drop him when he did. He dropped him then had to no choice but to play him again due to injuries. He scores 4 tries in that game and gets dropped right away. There is no way that is good coaching or the correct decision.

Hmmmm you really really don't know Anisy then do you?
He is briming with confidence, the guy is over the moon with playing the amount of first team games he as this year.
The aspects of his game he's working on are the one's covered by Roque further up the topic.
He has not been treated unfairly at all, will I 100% sure he doesn't see it that way!

Well you've ignored the vast majority of my post and quoted me on words I have never said.
It's not so much what Brian Noble said it's the fact that he has drawn attention to the weaknesses of a young player after a fine MOTM performance against Wakefield and since then the lad has not been the same player.
Why can't you give my questions an answer?

And who do you listen to Dave???
Sorry, you dont have to listen to anybody, your right about everything!!!!
Encyclopedias for Sale,in Good condition but selling as Previous owner now knows Everything!
PS
As for the Brian Noble fan club Jibe I think you will find that there are more people who go watching the games and discuss the games in pubs & clubs who don't come on here who have many a Valid Point abouth the game and the club and the ones I talk to don't all want Noble to stay!!!
They just don't try to manufacture criticism of him for their own Ego enhancing purposes!
End of the day, He is a PROVEN and respected coach at international and SL Level and I would guess he knows more about the game in his little toe than you or I will ever know!
That doesnt mean that every decision he makes will be the correct or perfect one. No coach can ever do that, but he's made more right decisions in his time here than wrong ones and doesn't deserve the abuse that some give him.
