We can moan about the cap all day long but it is here and is here to stay. Deal with it.

Just because there is a salary cap it does not mean we cannot be a top side again. We have the money to buy players but instead lets focus on the young lads we do have and develop them. Michael McIlorum, Sean Ainscough, Sam Tomkins, Joel Tomkins, Paul Prescott, Eamon O'carroll, Darrell Goulding, Lee Mossop etc

Our two best performers for the last few weeks have been home grown - Sean O'loughlin and Gareth Hock. Your home grown players are vital to a successful side and considering Wigan have some of the best local talents in rugby league in the UK we should look to develop them into world class players to benefit the side and to put us back where we belong.

It pains me when I saw Shaun Briscoe keep Hull KR in the game by rushing over to push the ball into touch, stopping a certain try and then to see on our end Cameron Phelps beaten twice.

Wigan are the biggest club in RL.

I know that, you know that, hell, everyone who reads this knows that.


The CC means that Wigan occupy an unnatural position in that we cannot assume our rightful place at the top of the "buying" pyramid. This doesn't happen in Soccer.

If a CC was introduced in Soccer, then suddenly Man Utd would be compelled to spend as much as Aston Villa...........the results would be much the same.


At the end of the day though, they would still be Man Utd, and by the same token we are still Wigan RL.



The most amusing thing though is that Hull KR will win BUGGER ALL this year. Zilch. Nothing. You will away, and despite this faux altruistic BS, we will laugh at you.
