Not a chance. A clear-out is NOT the best option, it got us nowhere (alas 2006). Yes agreed, we need to root out the deadwood (Smith, Fielden etc) but tonight I think our problem has been that our pack is simply not a big enough, strong enough or tough enough pack to beat the Catalans. Their forwards have absolutely battered us and ours have had no response what-so-ever.
No go forward. No heart. And worst of all NO BOTTLE. |

Yes I have to agree, it's useless from the top downwards. Clueless the lot of them! Unforced errors, missed tackles oh I cant stand it I'm off to do the washing up and then I'm looking forward to doing the ironing! Anything is better than this rubbish

When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

The whole club is pretty f*cked up by the looks of things.
The team doesn't seem to want to play.
The coaches tactics which we play are getting countered after 2 or 3 tries.
No defense.
No attack.
No Passion.
No Bottle.
I don't think a whole-sale clear out is what I needed. We have a load of very good players and they don't become dire straight away. There's just a few key people who need to go. (Noble, Fielden, Lockers, Price)
