Games as big as Grand Finals define individuals and clubs. Remember, we only rent these journeys. In my time I had Pat Richard's shirt. Ellery Hanley had Sean O'Loughlin's jersey. Sam Tomkins is wearing Radders' number one jersey. Andy Coley is wearing Shaun Wayne's jersey. You have to make a mark in these shirts before you hand it down to someone else. Hand it back. So be aware for 80 minutes that you are not only playing, but you are also writing history and creating legacy. How many people actually write history - not many? A big stage demands big players…..INSPIRE YOUR TEAM MATES.

just because he gives 100% and its his own town team does this mean he is captain material?
yes he is a excellent player but one game of being more vocal doesn't wash it why wasn't he vocal in all his previous games as captain where they just settling into the job games a captain should lead from the front be vocal barking out orders from hooter to hooter but no i wouldnt give fielden the captaincy he talks a wonderfull game in all of his interviews and where is this pace he's meant to have believe he can do the 100m in 9.98 seconds |

its his best position IMO.....i said mathers was no good long before everyone else could see it or accept it and got riddiculed for it....and ill say this of richards and probably get riddiculed for it as I have in the past, yet i am sure 12 months will prove me right; Richards with a full seasons experience at FB would be the best FB in the league, and I include Brent Webb in that!!! IMO hes the 3rd best FB in super league now after web and greensheilds even though he doesnt play there and has limited experience |

Ok, they were only friendles but in all three friendlies there was no better overall player and captain than Sean O'Loughlin.
Today was a one off IMO. Too much over reacting going on.
