Are you bringing it to home games? I was planning on putting my flag over the empty seats down in the corner of the west/south stand corner near where were sat?!? Or im Quite happy to donate it for the south stand mardi gras re home games, whatever may be.. Mibbe JBLO and/or 21-12 can dictate whether we have enough flags already for the 150 metre span of the south stand

It'll be ready for the first game. Will it be up? I'll have to check with the club. When I first spoke to them about the idea they said that if we can cover approx 50 metres (150 feet) with flags they'll do it. That's about 15 flags. We ordered 2 this week so by my reckoning that's 10 definates. I'm not counting a few flags that I've seen knocking around home or away, just the ones I know are OK to put up as things stand.
A few people have mentioned that they might get one done for the new season so hopefully we'll be ready.

If there are 10 flaggs done by fans it will be a poor show if the club dont allow them to be put up on show.

Indeed. They could just space them out a little more until the full collection is complete.

Reet, lets set a date for the next flag meeting in the brocket. In an ideal world we need approx 15 attendes or more, if we all chip in a tenner we will have enough for another flag what ever that may be. imo this meet should be early new year thus to give us time to get the flag ordered and delivered.

Why not once a month everyone sticks £5 into a central fund, that way throughout the season we will have enough to create 1 flag per month?

I would disagree personally, that would be a great idea for something big, but I would move onto some other ideas once there are 15 of these 10ft ones.

We need to get the 15 sorted first! Not that far off now i think with the legends one that we will order this week we will be at 11.

Why do all the flags need to go up on the gantry? A sea of flags at spectator level looks much better.

Anyway i'm up for contributing for a flag.

That could be done after the flags up at the top have been done.

Yeah, but i think it would look better and more "ultra-ish" at spectator level and would definitely give the ultras a greater presence on the terrace.
