23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

The grounds for appealling are that we will be without one of our best players. Obviously we would not use such an argument in a court-we would let the lawyers come up with some nonsense-but that is our grounds for fighting this.'" Oh dear i've never heared so much **** in all my life
Why fight it they caught him and he was daft enough to do it in the first place so he should take it like a man sort his life out and come back with a better attitude

They have a dabble when they are out with there mates they are not waking up and banging the stuff down there faces from waking to sleep.
My ignorance does me no credit, sadly Jack your posting history and agenda 99% of the time does you no credit.'"
So your answer to dealing with people who are on drugs is just to ignore it?
Don't try to deflect the issue on to me, when your own views on this are plainly ridiculous.

This is very well in a theoretical world but at the sharp end Wigan is going to lose one of its better players for at least 2 years. This is what we have to considor.

Once again that is so incredibly narrow minded it is untrue, I would rather wigan lost every single game than for the example that they are setting to the young fans of the sport to be it's absolutely fine to do illegal drugs.
Of course every Wigan fan wants to win every game, but you have to draw a line where other things become more important than a game. Hock should accept whatever punishment is given to him, and rightly it should be a lengthy ban from the game. The club should then throughout this period ensure that he has been given a massive kick up the ar se and that he earns his right to play in the cherry and white again by doing work in the community to set a better example than the one that has just been splashed over all the papers.

After he has been given the correct treatment for his problem.

I have no qualms with this. But there is standing by someone and there is making the whole situation a lot worse. The best thing Wigan can do is accept the ban and offer him support by way of counselling. But then, you cant blame Wigan if they just wash their hands of him.
I dont for one minute believe that Wigan were not aware of his antics away from the field, so maybe they have tried to help him already?

absolutely, by all means. But i imagine it would come to light that he does tend to take it more recreational, because surely if it was a much longer lasting problem it would have been picked up in earlier tests?
HOPEFULLY Hock does only use it recreationally, meaning that the fact his career is currently in ruins would act a massive kick up the ar se and the inspiration to turn his life around and stop doing stupid stuff like this.
if he has a more serious problem, then the club has much more blame on themselves, because you cannot tell me that it would not be noticeable that a professional athlete who is constantly under scrutiny for his physical side was a coke addict.

It didn't work then, did it.
However, maybe we should just kick him out on the streets like jonh suggests?
