The harder people try to pretend they are not bothered about losing, the more you realise that, in reality, they are totally p122ed off by it.

The main reason that Saints got beat yesterday was that the pack got bullied again. Wigan weren't brilliant, in fact had we played a decent team like Wire, Leeds, Catalan or Huddersfield we would have struggled giving up that amount of ball in poor field position, and missing so many chances.

It was almost like a training game for Wigan.

They tried lots of different things, but overall were quite casual in their approach. Lots of unforced errors, which nobody seemed too bothered about.

Defensively, they blotted St Helens out of the match with routine ease.

It's the same as it ever was with Saints. Stop Roby and you stop their attack.

I really like Roby, but he, like "One trick Mick", needs a good platform to work from. If his forwards are going backwards, he is buggered. Going forward he is a bloody handful, but he was taken out of the game yesterday.

Having ventured into the Borough of St Helens this morning due the involvement in junior rugby it was amusing to hear a group of supporters discussing yesterday's game and their only thing of note they could come up with was 'Whelan's Rent Boys"....long may it continue!
