| So what is going to happen without Lockers? Have 3 props (Prescott, Lima and Dudson) and leave Hansen, Hock, Tuson and Hughes to play in the back row?
I suppose he could play Gelling in the back row but his defence really doesn't fill me with much confidence.
He could also play Mike McIlorum at loose forward, Leuluai at hooker with Mellor in the halves.

| Lockers out is a disaster.
That means Tuson to start at 13, hughes or gelling in 2nd row, logan on to bench to spell micky mac.
So who would you play in 2nd row, hughes or gelling?

| Siege mentality tomorrow. I think I'd possibly run with tommy at 9 and macca at 13. At least we know mcillorum will get through bags of work in defence.

| Stick Hock at 13
he has excelled in that position before. Will also allow him to free roam as he sees fit.

Ellery and Faz had there time in Sean's, Hampo and Radders in Sam's. You have to make a mark in these shirts that's still there the day you hand it over to someone else. So be aware for 80 minutes you are not only playing but also writing history and creating a legacy. How many people get to actually write history, not many. | If Spencer is fit it would free us up to move Hansen back to second row. I heard he was struggling with a sternum injury though? Massive games needed from Hansen, Lima, Prescott and Hock.

I'd agree with this but6 Spencer in for Logan if he's fit. Mellor will need to show more confidence and get himself involved if he plays. Against Widnes he went missing a bit and tried to let Finch do everything. I'm gutted about all the injuries but it will hopefully get the players and fans up for it even more and create a 'siege mentality' like you said.

Spencer being fit would allow us to move Hansen back into the back row and wouldn't leave us short.

I'd go with the above. We've hot a hell of lot out through injury and the last thing we want to do is disrupt the team further with a mass of positional changes. I just hope everyone in the remaining 19 is fit. Still a good team that if only a little inexperienced.

The 13 is strong but the bench is very very weak in my opinion. Think this could be a great occasion for Mellor to introduce himself on the biggest stage

That team is the strongest one possible, but it all depends on Spencer being fit. If he misses out then positional changes might be the only option.

Agreed. From what we all heard earlier in the week Spencer didn't stand a chance of playing and now he's integral to us fielding a strong team IMO.
Like I say I just hope the remaining 19 are all fit and we don't suffer any more withdrawals. That teams still capable of winning, but anymore absentees and we'll struggle big time. Fingers crossed Pat and Tommy make it, and then last the 80.
