| Quote: Stu M "Looking forward to this one later, should be a great game to watch. If Wigan win, the RFL will be hoping we’ll be kept apart in the draw.
A Wigan v Saints final would fill Spurs ground especially with it being a new one that fans won’t have been to, if both teams win of course.
Wakey will be hard to beat today on a tight pitch and they have a great record at home against Wigan.
I’d never wish injuries on players so a few bans for Wigan players would be nice before Good Friday.'"
By “tight pitch” do you mean the proximity of the fans to the players because if you mean the size you couldn’t be more wrong as Belle Vues pitch is as big as the rules allow a RL pitch to be. A few years ago Trinity were ordered to reduce the width by a couple of metres as it was wider than allowed.
Wakefield have been playing well and look to have threats all over the field, if they turn up and are in the right mindset we are in for a good game of Rugby League. However, we are also prone to bad discipline and unforced errors which could see Wigan run away with the game.

My apologies then I didn’t realise. Always looks a smaller pitch, maybe it’s the camera angles. I’ve been there a few times and it does look smaller but clearly not the case.

| Looking forward to it, I think it'll be a close fought game. We'll be in the small conservative club by the ground about 12:30 to see our mate Arthur/Andy/Robert whatever name he's using this year.
A larger than life character but a good friend over many years.

| Can't be any excuses really with Fifita, Johnstone and Miller missing (shame for the match itself). Sure it'll still be tough though.

Wakey missing Fifita, Johnstone and Miller should make us favourites but still a tough game I think.

| Certainly feel a bit more confident with their absences but not counting my chickens. They’ll give it one hell of a go.

Agreed, but it was a stroll in for Field had he kept hold too. Poor play after great set up.

| Due to several reasons this is one of the first games I've been able to sit and watch this year.
We're pretty bloody good. Not sure what some people have been moaning about.

| Chuffed with. We were down towards that Wakey end and it was a partisan atmosphere that first half and Wakey played really well. The amount of desire we showed and pressure we soaked up allowed us to do that in the second half. It was a proper Wigan knock out performance for me.
Great to get a glimpse of what Field and French could bring as well.

| Nice to score some great tries. We could barely make a break last year.
Credit to Peet and the coaching staff.
Most pleasing aspect for me was French, quiet last week and had me thinking maybe to not play him on GF and bring him in Easter Monday.
Today performance put that idea out the window, looked close to his electric best!
Also good performance from Joe Shorrocks whose been working hard in the reserves.

| The bench had a huge impact on the result. The starting pack defended so well and then all 4 of the lads on the bench came in and put dints in the Wakey line. I thought they made the real difference between the sides and it allowed room for Field and co to play in.

| Very happy with that performance - especially the defence. Attacking aggression good too when we needed to re-start close to our line. The attack was potent but I reckon we bombed at least three tries so there is still some improvement in us.

| Very pleased with the win, but think saints just have a bit too much for us as they don't let up for the Full 80.
Really hope I'm wrong tho

| Obviously the best team won, we might have been able to give you more of a game with Tommy, Millar and Big Dave
playing. Good support from you guys too. Best of luck in the Semi Final.
