Phil Jones was a decent player and fully deserved selection ahead of Matty Johns.

I remember when Johns was out injured for Castleford away and Jones replaced him. Jones ended up scoring a hat trick and Man of the match before being dropped the week after by Endacott.

Luckily for Jones, he was offered a VERY good contract to play for Orrell RU.

I remember that now, couldnt think of any crap stand offs though so just picked him because he didnt play much.

Greg Florimo and Matty Johns are suitable replacements.



..Oh, and those selected Julian O'Neil? His hat-trick v Saints in 02' is enough to keep him out of that team!
