| This is pure speculation, but I wonder if the allocation is anything to do with the text that was going around at the start of last week? Not sure if anyone else got it, but I know had it forwarded to myself a couple of times. You could book category 5 tickets using the code bld30 and basically get them for free (you just paid for posting). When I originally checked they were for the end we've now been allocated.
I'm sure plenty of people booked via this method. Not sure if they'll turn up to the actual game, as it's a free ticket etc but it will have definitely have eaten into the amount available.

Due to high demand on the first day of sales, our initial allocation of tickets has sold out.
A further allocation is expected and further information will be shared when these are available.
Not helpful to anybody queueing up for a 9am opening time.

| Catalans have sold over 1000 already.
Hope they at least double it.

| Waiting for these tickets to be released is worse than waiting for an eBay auction to end.
Refreshing every few seconds in the hope of something changing.

| And if anyone is thinking of phoning for tickets, because they STILL haven't released anything to the ticketing website - Once you get past the engaged tone (they only have 30 lines), the queue time is around 2hrs.

| I went to the TO at about 2.30. They only had behind the goals. I don't want that for a big match. There must be 30,000 seats on the two sides at OT. How about sending a few to Wigan, RFL? Still, I got a coach ticket. And at this rate I may not use it.

| Also, anyone know what "Available (not matching filters)" means on the RFL site?

As Catalans get stronger each year and are challenging for trophies you'd like to hope that their fans are at least budgeting for travelling over to the UK for finals. I don't expect them to come in large numbers for standard league matches but cup finals should be better attended, whether that be 3,4 or 5,000+
Yes there's limitations on flights..etc, but French football and RU teams can manage it so it is possible.

Just means that you can buy that seat, but it doesn't match your selected Category.
For anyone waiting for the new allocation, they ONLY have Cat-5 in the West Stand (so as far back/high up as you can get, behind the sticks).
I waited almost 2hrs on the phone to find that out, on top of the 4hrs wasted yesterday at the ticket office.
And I've ended up buying seats behind the sticks in the away end from the RFL site, after all that.
Wigan/RFL have managed to suck EVERY bit of enjoyment out of this game, and we don't even play for another 5 days.

Have you searched for two or more tickets? I think it means there are tickets available but not as many as you've requested that are next to each other.
As for seats on the side there does seem to be a shortage of available tickets down the sides - I bought two of the few remaining £65 tickets in the North side yesterday (more than I wanted to spend). I guess its possible the RFL have done a much better job of selling the 'neutral seats in advance of the final but history doesn't inspire confidence.
The new batch that Wigan have received are in the higher blocks of the West stand - why weren't they given them in the initial batch?

| I may well not go at all now, I'm so fed up with it.
I only searched for a single ticket. I can't see that that that 'not matching filters' means it's not in your selected area, cos I'm seeing light blue and dark blues dots in adjacent seats!
