He did but that surely doesn't rule out further action?
He's obviously not been pinned in this case which seems strange unless they've looked at the incident and decided the ref got it wrong.
Either way Lima needs to watch what he's doing. He's going to be under the microscope after Cardiff and he'll need to be squeeky clean in that area. |

Generally speaking if the ref saw the incident at the time and didn't think it worthy of even a sin bin the RFL are unlikely to then go on to hand out a ban. The difference between this and Cardiff is that the ref didn't view and deal with the Cardiff incident at the time. |

This is what I don't understand were seeing players placing undue pressure on joints week after week, yet so far Lima has been the only one to be banned for it. It lack of consistency from RFL, or were they taking Lima's past history in the NRL into account when looking at his case? I'm going to go with discrimination against Wigan, I like to think everyone's against us.  |

Commenting on the hearing, McDermott, "We would like to thank the panel for a fair hearing and, whilst we are disappointed to lose Ben for this Friday's game, we accept their decision."
Doesn't sound like they will be appealing it. I know others will have their opinions, but I think that "challenge" was worse than what Lima did. A late high shot could do far more damage than undue pressure on a joint. Should they get the same punishment?(I'm going by the fact Lima got a game each for two challenges).
