| We just look a different team i know we have players missing but we don't look the wigan that won everything.
Call it a knee jerk reaction but i think our season is done, think we will limp out the playoffs.
Really hope I'm wrong

Iv'e had that feeling for a few weeks but don't want to admit it to myself. We are scraping past sides that others are battering and the good side we came up against recently we got smashed at home. We look like a team crying out for a rest......
But......
French and Smith are to come back soon and we could get top 2. A home tie and a week off could just be the tonic. I'm not giving up yet. It sounds ridiculous because we are challenging at the top but we can all see how lethargic we have become and the table doesn't tell the whole story.

| Pretty relaxed about the performance - we were worse than today in the home game against Hull last year and responded with a great run at the back end.
Someone should tell Jon Wells that any win today takes us into second, points difference is irrelevant.

| Jon Wells: Good win for Wigan but due to points difference it won't be enough to lift them from where they are in third into second above Warrington.
OK Jon, basics lad.

| We are too restricted by the system we are playing under. Lack of offloads and no heads up rugby is getting us into a lot of bother in games. Let Farrimond play his natural game and trust him. There was about three minutes of excitement in that game today centred around a Thompson offload and later a Farrimond individual break. We are hanging in there and hope when the spine is back together we put on a run we know we are capable of but it’s a big ask. Quick mention again for Thompson and Havard who are the only front rowers we have worth talking about. The drop off to the others is just too big a gap to bridge.

I think we are doing OK, another win picked up today with bodies to come back over the next two weeks.
Ellis back next week (missed him today), Bevan rumoured back (how we've missed him), Miski has had a week's rest, Smith back for Hull KR, Faz only out a couple of weeks hopefully. At the end of the day you can't blitz every game at 100%. Hull KR are flying at the moment but will they by the time playoffs come around? Matty Peet just said he knows and they players know that the rhythm wasn't there today but Champions win even when they aren't playing at full tilt.

No wonder Castleford's fortunes went downhill when he became their Director of Rugby

| Poor game not helped by the ref who allowed all kinds of nonsense at the play the ball.
Obviously still struggling in the halves but given how slow the PTB was they had very little opportunity to get on the front foot despite the fact we were consistently winning contact but not getting any reward for doing so.
Nice cameo from Forber. Gave us a bit more direction which I think at times we lacked under Leeming.
Job done but will need to improve next week if we want to pick up the win.

| Won the game in 1st gear, there’s been some real flat games this year, the standard of SL has been poor IMO.
There were some decent signs in the forwards. Harvard and Thompson are playing well currently, Nsemba also.
You’d have to think we’ll ramp it up next week and really target the game. It was the same exact weekend last year that the 34-0 came out of nowhere over there. Something similar would be nice. We’re cruising along and getting enough wins to stay up there, but we can’t go into the playoffs playing like we currently are. A big performance or two over the next fortnight would help massively.

| Quick look back on the highlights and Dupree getting flattened off the ball could’ve seen us playing against 12 and we could’ve made some inroads on the scoreboard. Certain ban for whoever it was who did it. The ruck speed in all of our game recently seems to be killing us too. It’s taking an age to get the ball played and to be fair we’ve no momentum off the back of many play the balls in the game.

| Another wins a win day. We're nowhere near our best and there will need to be vast improvements across the board but I'm confident it will come. Some of the younger players did themselves no harm but it won't be a game to rush out and watch the replay of.

| I'm not too fussed about the result. Barely out of first gear and got the win. I know the commentators were making a big deal about Wigan needing points but I think Wigan made the right choice in doing the basics and getting the win. With Smith & Bevan out, I'm not surprised about the poor cohesion of the attack. Thankfully, Keighran seems to be a natural halfback who is covering well and Farrimond is back to playing well after his break. Nsemba is phenomenal, he has the potential to be a truly elite player in the future and it'll be a joy to watch. Thompson is a monster.
My big concern is Wigan look knackered. I hope they can recover but I'm worried we'll crumble before the playoffs. If that happens, I can see either Warrington or Hull KR winning the LLS and/or Grand Final this year. Hopefully, when Smith and French return, we'll return to the dominant Wigan we saw at the start of the year.
The decision to sin-bin Mago was ridiculous. How can the officials expect a 20-stone forward at full speed to kill his momentum in less than a foot? By breaking the laws of physics or disappearing in thin air? Playing the video back at full speed, there's no way Mago can pull out of that tackle. Vella also got it dreadfully wrong claiming Mago didn't wrap, which he did. The lack of consistency is a killer, not sure if it was Dupree or Havard who got crunched off the ball but if you're going to apply awful rules at least do so consistently. I just hope Mago doesn't catch a ban.

100%, thought that Forber would have come on at half time, I guess Peet wanted the game won first but we looked more purposful once he was on. As it worked out the game opened up in the last 10 and Forber didn't have the same dummy half role, the game at that point would have suited Leeming better.
