Yep this is probably the worst for me. I heard an ex-Wigan player's take on it not long ago, who was on the pitch at the time, and it made it evenworse for me.

I also think Mason on Long nearly as bad - luckily for Long the contact was on his forehead rather than eye/cheekbone otherwise it probably would've done serious damage.

Thompson has left Saints with immediate effect. Saints pretty scathing in their press release saying they had to get rid as he was the only player who refused a pay cut during this pandemic. Ironic that considering the Saints fans always said their chance of keeping him was that he came from a wealthy family. Guess that’s how you become rich!

McManus once again shouting his mouth off to the press to curry favour favour with the Saints faithful. Whether the 'facts' about his departure are the whole story who knows but a man in his position should keep more of his own council. Did he take a pay cut?

Have been told from a pretty reliable source that Saints are seriously worried about the return of SL without crowds and are facing going under if games are played behind closed doors. The same has to be said for the rest of SL and you can see why Saints wanted him out and wanted the transfer fee.

I can't see how the numbers are going to work for SL without crowds. It's not like we've got the NRL's massive TV deals.
