| Quote Wigan6/Leeds1 Andy="Wigan6/Leeds1 Andy"We were completely bullied right across the park - out team is far too small. This is something Radlinski mentioned at the start of 2014 and he's done absolutely nothing about it. When Wane goes Radlinski needs to follow him because our recruitment over the last few years has been shocking and too much of our cap is tied up in too many returning players who haven't delivered.'"
I couldn’t agree more, thecrecruitment is shocking. The problem is leneghan, Radlinski & Wane want a team full of wiganers which is fine however as a supporter if I want to watch a team of wiganers then I’ll go watch st pats or rose bridge. When I watch Wigan Warriors I expect to see the best homegrown talent plus the best of whatever else is available whether they be Australians, kiwis or yorkshiremen.

WANE wanted a team full of Wiganers, KR & IL gave Wane as much as he wanted.
WANE is at fault for all the players coming back because he is very insular, WANE is at fault for our demise.
KR is compliant in that and IL took his eye off the ball and gave WANE far too much power at the club has resulted in this situation.

WANE & KR are at direct fault, IL is at fault for putting too much trust in their abilities but yes all three are at fault in different ways.

| The only thing more embarrassing than the Wigan performance are the threads on this forum tonight.
I’m not being a happy clapper or do gooder in saying this, but we’ve had a couple of truly atrociously bad weeks, after a great start to the season where we annihilated Warrington at magic weekend. Up until last week we had only lost 2 games all season, whilst generally playing much more attractive rugby than the previous 2 seasons.
Today Warrington totally had our number and played brilliantly. In addition to this we were abysmal.
But reading some of the comments on here is embarrassing regarding the quality of our squad, or the calls for certain people to immediately leave our club.
I invite the majority of people on this forum to read some of the comments they were writing a couple of weeks ago. It may put things into perspective a bit better for them.

Thanks for the insult. If you would like to explain in a civilised manner why you are saying that I’m willing to read it. Otherwise continue being an obnoxious idiot elsewhere.

I agree. People love nothing more than to slate the entire team whenever they are given the chance. Wigan played terrible today and last week, but up until the Wane announcement we have been in good shape. Not quite a crisis yet.
I do however agree that an early exit for Wane could help. Whilst I’m a big fan of his nowadays the timing has killed us and I fear will do for the rest of the season. I was listening to a podcast where I think it was Mark Flanagan said everyone naturally plays better when a new coach comes in as they need to prove themselves.
George Williams is quality for me and i would rather him be at Wigan than Warrington or the NRL. What he needs though is a solid 7 to compliment his style of play, something that was alarmingly obvious before the season started. I don’t think Hastings is the answer though as I think he’s fallen out with and unsettled every club he’s been at - not what we need when we already have a few live wires.
Ps. I wish Escare would get more than 10 minutes.

Because you support a failing business win, lose or fail.
That means the end of the said business.

If we were in Widnes’ position and I was still being positive then I would agree with your comment. However, we are not in that position yet.
I agree with you it is stupidity to support something blindly win, lose or fail.
I think we just have a disagreement over whether or not Wigan is ‘failing’ at the moment. I guess I just need more than 2 poor weeks to consider it truly failing.
If we are still in this situation in another 2 weeks then I’ll start to worry.
Last year we lost 8 in a row and only just missed out on the semi finals.
