I thought you meant Sam. Agree with what you say, and I think this puts real pressure on Logan as either SP or GW could convert to a ball playing 9, which would balance nicely with what MM brings to the team. Will be a good scrap to see the long term replacement at FB as well.
Will be interesting to see what the Club does if no one offers AP or EL contracts. I assume that they would be happy for AP to stay on, but as for Eric ...

I would hope a decent side is sent after the past couple of years, especially as Leigh have turned down other SL clubs offering strong sides, and indeed this seems to be happening.
It would be great for this to be a competitive annual fixture, remember LSV has undersoil heating and in recent years when friendlies have been cancelled they have been played at LSV, therefore it becomes a guaranteed preparation for the season ahead on a first class surface. |

The a Warrington game is a fringe squad/ U20s hit out for us and Wire hence the price.
For our game we are opening three of the four stands at LSV in anticipation of a 5k plus gate and will obviously have all the associated costs that brings, against Wire we are only opening one stand.
A near full strength Wigan vs Leigh at full strength playing for local pride and the Arthur Thomas memorial trophy (see below) not only makes for a great spectacle this year but hopefully as we develop as a force over the coming years could be an annual local event that we can all look forward to. For those old enough to remember the early 80s we were once looking down on you guys ![]()
£16 for a friendly is still too dear. It should be £10 tops - Like the much more anticipated derby v St Helens for James Roby's testimonial.
I'm paying less to watch Wigan play in a world club challenge at the Allianz stadium in Sydney - And with that coming up I'll save my money thanks.
It's not worth debating or justifying, you'll just see poorer attendance and financial income than you anticipate.
