And don't forget Stuart Fielden! As most of us were saying in November, once we knew Fielden and Coley were still on board and Lima and Hoffman had signed, we were going to have a formidable pack, especially with the return of Hock.
The good thing is even if we have a couple of injuries we can still have a massive unit. Wigan have yet to play this season with their first choice pack/team ( ie with Hock and Fielden included with the current forwards). It really is a very exciting prospect - let's hope they are all (or almost all) fit and firing on July 23rd!

| Always liked Hock, even as a Wire fan. His style is not only effective but it's crowd pleasing. Everybody loves a big tough thug (meant in a nice way) doing bruising runs. Well apart from when were were playing him obviously.
I was very disappointed when he got banned, not least for the shame and discredit he did himself.
The guy will have to win back not only the super league fans, but I'm guessing some Wigan fans too. All this can only be done with hard work, he never shirked responsibility in the past, so I don't see him doing it this time.
All being said, he was guilty of taking drugs and has taken the punishment with a certan amount of dignity, lets hope he learnt his lesson and is back to his best to help destroy the Aussie's at the end of the season.
P.S Also hope he's injured/banned/ill for the Wire game  |
