Dur, you really are one dumbo.
Let me explain this to you, S-L-O-W-L-Y-...... if you are buying star players and letting fringe men go, then I assume that your wage bill will be rising.
Now kindly go back to your own forum and stop bothering us.

Round of applause your in the Play-offs, so all that means is playing a few more games, then getting knocked out and winning nothing.

Fringe players you idiot, not when they signed there contracts, Rah was a Kiwi international who had just been voted nrl prop of the year when we first signed him, players like him dont come cheap .Paul Johnson was also a full GB international so would not have come cheap. Do you think a club can just drop a contracted players money when they feel like it. Then theres Glesson, think every one knows he never wanted to come to Warrington, and only came for the money, so you would have thought he would have been on big bucks, then we have Reardon who was another international when we signed him, would be on a decent wedge. Hope this helps you get your head around the signings....but i doubt it.

| I can see why people think Wire will be over the cap next season but the simple fact of the matter is they can't be because of the live nature of the cap.
In simple terms each player is given a salary cap value which is the total of all gross payments due to the player such as his salary, payments for image rights and payments into employee benefit trusts. The lot.
They then add up each players value and you get the clubs salary cap liability and given this is done before the season starts and it gets recalculated as players come and go, there is no way Wire or any other club are over the cap.
There is one possible reason why Wire may be getting their salary cap money to go further and that is if they are relying on overseas players not paying tax on money paid into offshore employee benefit trusts. If they are it is a VERY risky strategy as this is what the tax man is currently trying to clamp down on.
Bottom line is all clubs are operating under the same salary cap rules and the tax issue aside that means instead of moaning that Wire are assembling a strong squad we should be asking why we are not.

| Having once worked for RBS, and one of their business customers being Warrington...I can tell you that they are certainly not over the cap. And I was quite shocked at the wages some players where on! I'll say not more than that as Sir Fred [or whomever is in charge this week] May hunt me down.
