For now I think we need a 6 to replace Deacon if he is to retire rather than a hooker. Clarke is an excellent prospect and someone we should look at to replace Tommy if he does decide to go to the NRL when his current deal expires.
While we're raiding Cas for players, isn't Arundel off contract at the end of next season? Would be a good replacement for George.

Heard from 2 different people today that we are definately in talks with Rangi Chase, there is something going on here.
At least with rumours like this it seems we're after using money to sign some more quality!

Looks like more substance to the Lauaki move from Hull to Wigan. He has potential, but needs a lot of work in terms of fitness and attitude to me.

Just read on twitter that at the Bradford bulls fans forum it's been stated by their chairman that Wigan are not spending the full salary cap.
Don't know why this was said there but there you go!
