In fairness we still need to see more of KPP at centre to make sure it’s a long term option, especially in proper games against experienced centres. The signs are very positive so far, in fact the only thing he probably needs to work on is just being a bit more patient at times and not trying to force things. He’s physically going to be a nightmare for some centres.

Found a player with Mago if he keeps his form up of these two friendlies. I expected yards but his skills are exceptional.

It's that early days that you can't really say that it's early days, but it looks like we've got our recruitment right. Plenty of size and Cust took a good couple of options on the last too.

Hopefully it transfers into the season as we've got a tough start.

Wigan won 14-6 ,We played brilliant in first half second half was a bit scrappy when players were subbed ref caned us for penalties all the new signings played well Field 2 tries .

Refs whistle had a fantastic workout second half. He’s put it in a superb position going in to the season.

14 vs 12 and Warrington still couldn't score.

Whilst you need to convert your chances - Field bombed a sitter, Singleton knocked on over the line & we got held up twice too. On another night they could have been another couple in the bag.

It was a very comfortable night Vs a strong Wire side.

Very pleasing, and signs looked good in the first half with somewhere near a full-strength side. Some disruption in the second half, with a lot of kids getting a run out, but still restricted a team full of internationals to one try. That offload from Mago was just lovely, he will be a real force in SL this year I am sure. Nobody had a poor game, even Sam Powell looked back to the better form of a couple of years ago.
