I haven't seen any of the players you have named cheap shot someone and then go and hide behind the nearest half back.

Bateman loves the push and shove/verbals style confrontation we see nowadays but he does look like he knows he’d get battered if one of the big guys was let loose on him. He’s very aware of what’s going on around him, who is on his team backing him up and the fact that you’re pretty well protected by the rules IMO.

Micky Mac on the other hand=absolute nutter! He looks dead behind his eyes when he gets in that mode he was in on Friday night and anybody who thinks he is a guy who bullies small players is living in a dream land. He’s small himself and throws himself in to anybody with the force he hit Dwyer with. People saying he wouldn’t go toe to toe with big guys, should ask the question why no big guys go toe to toe with him? There is a reason not one Leeds player went after him on Friday and that is because his reputation goes before him. There aren’t many out and out hard men in the game anymore, probably because it’s not allowed but Micky Mac is one. He’s a throwback really and as we’ll see with his upcoming ban, that style isn’t allowed anymore.

I don't see why you'd want to do that, in a non-romantic context. He certainly is a charmless individual.

Either I`m missing the point or you are.
I`m referring to you saying we have grubs like Bailey, Ablett and Ferres and have come back with the grubs in my opinion you have/had playing for you.
I`m not for one minute suggesting your players would run away and hide far from it.
In the case of Bailey and Ablett they are nothing but wind up merchants.
No doubt you will think your players are all pretty innocent whilst I disagree each to their own opinion.
