| Quote: Famous "Is scoring tries the only measure you use to define how good a player is? Karl Pryce scored a try a game for us but I wouldnt call him a star player. I was actually being polite in calling him average as I really do not rate him at all. Even Hull KR fans are complaining that Hull KR only ever attack down Welhams side and say that is why he scores tries. How many tries did Welham's winger score because Welham is a greedy so and so (i.e its not much use scoring a lot of tries when you arent setting up yo
ur winger)? How many tackles does Welham miss? There is a damn site more to the game than scoring tries or people like Pryce, Penny, Ainscough et al would be superstars.'"
Seeing as you ask Welham's winger scored a hat trick last time out.
Not getting into the willy measuring contest that's gone before in this thread.
Wigan is my favourite away game in the SL.
We may be at full strengh for the 1st time this season and your missing a key player and coming off the back of a very tough game.
Hopefully a game to grace the SKY cameras.

| On the general feeling of this thread then, I'd be disappointed to come away with a defeat as Wigan used to be a guaranteed two points.
Hull Kr by at least 2 scores.

| Quote: Dan The Red "No coincidence since the arrival of Tomkins you've won trophies, before then you were getting beat by "awful" teams like rovers every week with no Tomkins? ONE MAN TEAM'"
Couldn't agree more.
Leuluai, Finch, Richards, Charnley, McIlorum, Hock - All shïte. Every last one of them. And wouldn't get in to KR's team ahead of whoever plays in their relative position.
Let's be honest here - Pretty much ANY of Wigan's players could walk in to your team.
But if you want to claim that the best attack AND the best defence in the league is ENTIRELY down to Sam Tomkins, you go ahead.
Just make sure that tell your coach to put at least 5 men on Sam, every time he goes near the ball.
That way, you'll never notice Tommy, Brett, et al running/passing rings around you.
BTW - Can I please have a hit of whatever you're smoking, cos it seems like some good shït?

He plays for Hull Kingston Australians, i'd say that's the definition of average.

Yet we've given game time in SL to 12 different Hull born players this year........Go figure.

| My word! there are some moronic comments on this thread, sad to say by Rovers fans!!!! When we EARN the right to critise a team who actually win games consistanly then maybe, just maybe, the odd comment could be validated.
We are where we are, injuries or no injuries. I dont mind the OP's question, amusing a touch, i would be hopeful Wigan would perform the same, but to then go off on one when you dont get the answer you want made me cringe with embarrasment!
It is highly unlikely Wigan will struggle as much as they did, a) the pitch wont be as bad, b) it is unlikely we will be up for the game as much as Feath (no offense to Feath but it was almost like a cup final for them), we know we will have plenty of other games to come.
Wigan is one of my favorite away games, ill be there, more in hope than anything else, i do remember our first season, nilled Wigan in the first half in both games at the then JJB, surreal it was. But thats like saying i liked Christmas last year, it isnt Christmas and i wont get the same gifts, different year, different scenerio.
Stop all the disrespect and awful trolling, really embarrasing at times! (that does go both ways mind, saying Feath would beat us and the 'lower' teams, very disrespectful to all concerned, as i said, different scenerio, no 2 games are the same).
Good luck on Friday, just not too much! Likely be Silverwood or Bentham on Friday, hoping for the latter if anything so it isnt all about him. Although seen some shocking performances for both this season.

| Any injury news other than Richards? I know Hansen came back on after his head injury, but are you likely to play him?
Rovers have just 1 player missing, Jake Webster.

"HH" may never win MOS, but he would always be in with a shout for "man of titanium". He is one tough bugger.
