I thought Flanagan moved to the NRL as his missus was Australian and she wanted to go home? Can't see him moving back over here if that was the case, unless he's finished with her.
Good signing for Widnes if they do sign him, I rate him personally but with the amount of back rowers at our disposal I see no where he could possibly fit in.

You are, of course, entitled to your opinion and to air it. It's one I and I can imagine many other posters will disagree with, as I think Hoffman has been one of our stand out players so far this season. |

It would seem most people disagree with you, as he currently leads our "player of the season" voting comfortably. |

A little OT, but this youngster Hughes who've currently got on dual registration with Barrow. Is the backrower that we decided to keep out of three, with the other two going to Widnes and Huddersfield? You'll have to forgive the fact that I don't know their names.
I'm guessing he'll be next line.

Wigan didn't want him before and don't need him now. Just because he's played in the NRL doesn't mean he's become a 'world class' player. It seems to me that if anyone has anything to do with Australia the English think they are bound to be amazing. It's no wonder we can't beat em with the inferiority complex we have. Wigan could have a 'world class' team full of blokes from the Wigan area IMO.

Flanagan is very overated and achieved little in his time at the club. He cant have played much more than 10 games at the club and is no where near the class of younger players such as Liam Farrell and Lee Mossop.

I think that we should get him back - he has had some quality performances in the NRL and I'm sure he has learnt a lot.
Then again Widnes have been linked with loads of players - it may well just be a rumour
