No way I would go with one prop on the bench against St Helens. It could well be the same 17 as last week for probably the first time all year. Lam might put Smith back in to have that option but it would surely be a back rower to make way - you dont need two of those on the bench. I doubt George Burgess will be risked in this one and I'm not convinced by Liam Bryne yet so I probably would stick with Clubb all things considered. |

We can’t afford to blow cold this week after being so hot last week, albeit against a weak Salford side. It seems like we say this too often but this really is a big test for Lam. I’ve no doubt the talent in this squad is there to beat Saints and win trophies, it’s up to Lam to get it out of them and a win v Saints will certainly help start to convince those who remain unconvinced by Lam.

Behave.. That squad is nowhere near enough to beat Saints on a regular basis. Theres probably only 3 players that would get in the saints 17..

Forgot about him to be honest. He is potentially a very good player and is already a good player anyway but if I was picking a team right now (ignoring injuries) I'd still have Graham in there. All very hypothetical of course but I don't think my team would be far off. Certainly more than the 3 Wigan players which was quoted by someone else anyway. |
